Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range
After I teleported, I arrived at my destination - Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range. It was located two hundred kilometers away from Floating Cloud City.
As I hovered in the air, I observed the huge mountain range and its numerous inhabitants. The Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range was home to high-level profound beasts who occupied a large part of it.
Many cultivators would usually visit the mountain to search for treasures or hunt the profound beasts for their beast cores.
Only one region of the mountain range was normally avoided by both cultivators and other profound beasts - The territory of the Scarlet Dragon, who was the overlord of the area. It was located in the central innermost part of the mountain range.
The name 'Scarlet Dragon' was given to it since it was a flame-breathing Great dragon that emitted scarlet flames. Its territory had a very high concentration of fire elements. It was believed that the place where the Scarlet Dragon stayed, had nurtured some fire attribute natural treasures but no cultivator was crazy enough to barge into that area.
With one move of my feet, I disappeared from above and in a jiffy, appeared at the front of the dragon's cave. I didn't bother to hide my presence as I wanted the Scarlet Dragon to sense me.
"Knock knock!" I spoke loudly enough for my voice to reverberate inside the dragon cave.
A tremendous tremor vibrated in the ground, the source coming from the deepest part of the dragon's cave.
"Who dares to step into this king's territory?!!" An extremely angry and arrogant voice resounded.
'Haha, this dragon is very cunning despite its arrogance. Its cultivation is already in the Emperor Profound realm but he feigned it to look like it is in the ninth level of Sky Profound realm,' I thought in amusement when I spread my senses to scan it. He could have hooded his strength from other foolish cultivators but he was unlucky to be targeted by someone like me.
'Hmm, let me remember the plot a little bit...yes, I know remember this dragon probably fooled the Burning Heaven Clan experts like this and it was what led them to suffer massive losses,' Since I wasn't concerned much about the plot there were some minor occurrences that I didn't look over.
"Scarlet Dragon, It's me your granddaddy who has come to take a piece of your dragon meat. I heard that it tastes delicious when roasted and mixed with condiments." I spoke in a voice full of taunt.
"What did you say to this king?! Are you courting death?!" The temperature suddenly spiked and the atmosphere started turning scarlet due to the sudden outburst of flames from the Scarlet Dragon who had yet to make an appearance.
"I said I have never tasted dragon meat and it happens that you are the only dragon I could immediately find in the area," I replied, my voice laced in mockery, " So just come out and meet your doom."
It seems the scarlet was cautious as he didn't immediately rush out but I knew a dragon like him wouldn't allow his pride to be stepped on just like that.
Soon, a gigantic head started emerging from the cave, and finally, the Scarlet Dragon appeared. It had a height that reached a hundred feet and I looked very tiny in size in front of it. Its entire body was scarlet red like a molten iron rod, and blazing fire could be seen lit on the edges of its enormous wings and tail.
Its huge scarlet red eyes gazed at my figure in arrogance and anger. It was clear that my provocation had greatly angered him.
"Human, you are the one that dared to step into this king's territory and provoked me?" The Scarlet Dragon's voice boomed making its voice known throughout the mountain range.
Putting my hands behind me like a supreme expert I flew to a height above the Scarlet Dragon and in arrogance, I replied as I looked down at him.
"What would you do if I was the one?!"

"Such impudence!" The tension grew rapidly as the Scarlet Dragon roared, its nose and mouth emitting scarlet red flames.
It didn't take long before the Scarlet Dragon initiated its first offensive attack on me.
The Scarlet Dragon opened its humongous mouth and spewed a massive line of hot scarlet red flames toward me.
I watched in slow motion as the red flames traveled toward me. I decided not to waste my time playing with such a prideful dragon and complete what I had come there to do and also harvest some dragon meat while in the process.

With a gentle swing of my arm, I directed my clenched fist towards the incoming flames.
I was surprised by the enormous wind pressure I generated which then proceeded to nullify the scarlet-red flames before slamming onto the hundred-ton Scarlet dragon.
The poor Scarlet dragon was pummeled into the earth, forming a crater that destroyed the terrain of the land.
"This is simply outrageous even though I used just a millionth of my strength," I muttered to myself while looking in amazement at the formed crater where the Scarlet Dragon lay in ruins, its dragon body - which was recognized for having a terrifying physical defense- was mangled beyond recognition. Luckily, its meat was safe and not overly damaged.
"You were initially very arrogant, now look at how your granddaddy has taught you a severe lesson," I laughed outrageously as I neared the dying figure of the Scarlet Dragon. It greatly amuses me when using those kinds of phrases like ' I, your father' or ' Your granddaddy here.'
Without wasting time much further I sent it to meet Yama.
"Such pounds of meat!" I smiled happily as I imagined myself gnawing on the juicy thigh of the dragon.
"Let me do what I came here for first before enjoying my spoils," I silently looked at the corpse and then turned my heated gaze to the interior of the cave.
How can I forget about the Elemental Fire seed and Fire Spirit grass? The Fire seed of the Evil God would surely help me in comprehending the Fire laws and I couldn't just ignore it. Although I had no current use for the Fire Spirit grass, I would just keep them. Even if I made them into pellets, they wouldn't be of any help to me because of my current strength.

I was met by a large amount of Fire Spirit grass and proceeded to store all of them in my storage ring.
I also took away the Evil God's Fire seed located deep in the cave.
After my job was done, I decided to leave but before I left I sensed the presence of several Sky Profound realm experts heading in the direction of the Scarlet Dragon's cave. They all emitted a kind of fiery aura, a sign that their techniques were fire-attributed.
I knew they were the Burning Heaven Clan Experts but I didn't give a damn about them so I simply teleported back to the Xia Clan Manor leaving behind a bunch of furious old men.
