Comprehending the Fire Laws
~THIRD POV~
After Noah finalized his mission at the Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range, he teleported back to his room.
But what he encountered made him pause whatever he was going to do. He discovered the ice fairy trying to probe his room, maybe she was looking for him?
He decided to tease her a little bit before he could resume whatever he had earlier planned.
The words he had uttered with a devious smile on his face seemed to have rendered the beauty stiff with anticipation as if he was a very dangerous predator
"I was...I was...just looking for you to see if you were okay and comfortable with the accommodation that we provided for you," Xia Qingyue spoke timidly, out of character with her usual cold indifference.
When Noah heard her words he nearly laughed."What a cute reaction from the normally cold beauty. She looks as if I have caught her stealing something."
Even though they were separated by a wall, something like that could not deter a cultivator's senses. So logically they could visualize each other.
With a flicker, Noah appeared in Xia Qingyue's room which earned him a squeal of surprise from the original owner of the room.
Xia Qingyue did not expect that Noah was shameless enough to just enter a lady's room without even knocking or asking for permission from her. Her room was always hers alone and she had never allowed anyone in.
Noah looked around the room in curiosity trying to find anything of interest. Alas, Xia Qingyue's room was bland nothing special except for the ever white and blue color everywhere. From blankets to bedsheets, they were either white or blue. These colors seemed to resonate with her character and aura. Anyway, what did he expect from a lady like Xia Qingyue? A pink room maybe, hahaha!
When Noah looked at the enchanting figure in front of him, he couldn't help but be stunned again. He really couldn't get enough of such a xianxia beauty considering in his previous life the women were never at the level he was currently seeing. The gap was simply insurmountable.
Noah observed the threatening gaze from Xia Qingyue as if she was telling him to leave her territory immediately or else...the consequences were unimaginable.
Noah chuckled inwardly at her behavior despite both of them knowing the humongous difference between their strengths.
"Noah, what do you want? " Xia Qingyue decided to break the silence.
"Can't I look for my lady?" Noah replied as he moved closer to Xia Qingyue. His intentions were unknown.
"Don't you have your room?" Xia Qingyue retorted, her figure still in a lotus position as she observed the mysterious young man who had appeared in her room.
"Yes, I have. I can't deny that, right?" Noah softly spoke as his muscular body finally landed next to Xia Qingyue who was on the bed.
Silence ensued between the two with only their breathing sounds being heard. The atmosphere was tense. Xia Qingyue felt her blood flow increase and her heartbeat became erratic. She was nervous.
A male and a female, alone in a room. If she had the power she could have froze him but it seemed her heart thought otherwise. She could not move her hands against him. Not to mention the fact that he was a monster in terms of power.
"Why were you probing my room? Had you missed me despite the very short period we spent together?" Noah teased with a playful smile on his perfect face as he looked into the tranquil eyes of the snow-white lady.
"Hmph! Who missed who? Do you think I am such a person?" Xia Qingyue replied coldly but as she said those words her heart was simply a mess.
Noah chuckled on hearing her reply. He knew she was trying to sound like her usual self but in front of him, she seemed to be struggling. Noah could even hear the subtlety of her erratic heartbeat.
Noah was tempted to push her down on the soft bed there and then but rationality held him back. But that did not deter him from making a move on her.
In one swift movement, he was already kneeling behind her, his face threatening to touch her neck. His sudden action made Xia Qingyue almost jump in shock.
'Damn, I would die of shock one of these days," Xia Qingyue lamented in her heart but her whole attention was on the steady breaths gently fanning the bridge of her neck. Her body felt hot and agitated.
"I didn't come here to do anything unreasonable to you," Noah gently spoke and then paused, "I was just surprised that you were looking for me."
"I thought you were coming for my body," Xia Qingyue couldn't help but blurt out. What could she say? Her mind was currently sluggish due to the proximity of their almost touching bodies.
"Hahaha, yes I want your body I can't deny your sentiment," Noah admitted without beating around the bush. He then added, "But I didn't come here for your body, remember we barely know each other. Another fact is that I can't force myself on you. Remember our deal. Scratch my back I scratch yours. Just a simple equivalent exchange but we value each other's consent."
He truly wasn't a lustful bastard to impose his superiority on a weak lady. But at the end of the day, that did not mean he did not want Xia Qingyue.
Xia Qingyue was silent after hearing the reply. She could only agree with him. Both parties had agreed to benefit from each other. Xia Qingyue was just afraid when that time comes and she would have to give out her body. She was just a virgin maiden! Anyway, she had decided to give herself to him as long she wasn't forced.
On the other hand, Noah silently observed the minute features of Xia Qingyue from her delicious-looking neck to her silky dark long hair that gently flowed to her waist but kept his hands to himself.
'Soon, very soon,' He deeply thought to himself. His train of thoughts reached a sacred realm of adulterated imagination.
"I have something to give you later that will help in your cultivation but complete your breakthrough first before that," Noah whispered close to her ear. This sent a jolt down Xia Qingyue's spine.
"Hmm." That was the only response from Xia Qingyue. Her ability to communicate seemed to have turned useless.
Noah was currently satisfied with his seductive teasing. 'That's enough for the day. Becoming more overpowered is my current goal. These beauties will not go anywhere, right?' Those were the thoughts that ran through his mind.
Just like before he teleported back to his room leaving behind a dumbstruck heavenly beauty.
Noah decided to power up seriously for the remaining time. He sat cross-legged on the bed and before doing anything he used
He decided to start with the Ancient Evil God's Elemental Fire seed. He knew who the Evil God was. A Creation God from the Ancient Era. His previous identity was as one of the four Creation Gods born from the eight fragments of the Ancestral Goddess. He had power over elemental laws such as fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, and darkness. From Noah's previous life knowledge, he knew that the Evil God could harness almost all elemental powers, that is, except for the light laws.
After conferring himself the name 'Evil God' he separated the seeds containing his elemental power source and placed four of them in the mortal plane, the Blue Pole star, and sent the earth seed to stabilize the Abyss of nothingness. This can be attributed to the war of the Primordial Era that threatened to destabilize the Primal Chaos Dimension.
But Noah knew that most of the Evil God's legacy was in the Blue Pole Star, generally speaking, most of those ancient True Gods' legacies were on this planet. The True Gods in question were the Primordial beasts of the Ancient Era, that is, the Golden Crow, the Phoenix, and the Dragon God. The three Primordial beasts could be said to be friends with the Evil God. The Blue Pole star itself was the Evil God's creation.
"The Ancient Era was truly interesting," Noah muttered as he perused the knowledge in his mind about the Evil God.
Finally, he took out the Evil God's Fire seed and held it in his hand. He observed the way the small fragmented Laws of Fire interacted with each other. He started to truly comprehend the Fire Laws from the elemental source. Fire is generally used to burn things or simply incinerate. What he wanted was to understand how the Fire was formed, and how it incinerates and causes destruction. As one of the five basic elements, it could be said to so destructive. Imagine sending a compacted miniature sun by utilizing Fire Law to your enemies. That was simply overkilling. The Fire Law existed all over the Primal Chaos Dimension. It could be said to be a supporting base for the existence of the Primal Chaos Dimension itself.
As time passed, with his instant comprehension, Noah slowly uncovered the mysteries of the Fire law. He discovered that
In the blink of an eye, a week passed. Noah had finally fully comprehended the elemental law of fire. He could now embody fire at will. He could become the fire laws itself. He felt like he could burn away anything into nonexistence and also annihilate some principles like space. Runes of fire laws could be seen engraved deep in his bones. His aura had also become fiery. But despite all these improvements, he felt like something was missing to truly perfect his current understanding. Yes, he could now control the fire laws at will but to truly perfect its lethality, he needed the flame sources of the Golden crow, Phoenix, and Vermilion Bird. For that, he had to pay a visit to their respective trial grounds.
Noah stood up and extended his sense all over the Xia Clan Manor to look for Xia Qingyue since he couldn't find her in her room. He finally located her in a beautiful courtyard full of various flowers. It looked just like a flower garden.
In a blink, Noah teleported to the courtyard. He had to fulfill his promise to her and also eat some delicacies since he had the dragon meat to spare. He truly missed food.
