Ice Phoenix, Bing'er, pet

CRACK!

Little by little, the ice shattered into countless small pieces and a dashing young man could be seen.

He had an unbridled smile on his face as his right hand's index finger slowly traced the black ring on his left ring finger.

The black ring was engraved with mysterious runic characters that made it look unordinary.

Yes and that was exactly how it was.

The black ring was the True Annihilatory Spear of Oblivion!

Remember one of its capabilities named ...

was an ability of the newly forged Cosmic Spear to be able to shapeshift into any variety of weapon

Be it a sword, bow, gun...it just had limitless possibilities.

So making it take the form of a ring, really suited his tastes.

"Oh dear, it seems I have to teach you a lesson, Xuanyin." Noah ran his right hand through his silky void black hair as he leisurely started walking towards the exit.

___

At the very depths of the Heavenly Netherfrost Lake, mysterious ice lotuses could be seen floating around a foggy figure.

The Extreme Ice Laws were highly concentrated in this region due to the presence of a Cold Ice Divine Vein beneath it.

Another reason was the presence of the foggy figure that seemed to take the shape of a girl.

The girl's arms were wrapped around her knees with her head, full of waist-length lustrous blue hair, buried between them.

Although she was completely naked, her long hair which had extreme similarities with Mu Xuanyin's, helped to cover most of her nudity, especially her small breasts and little sister's territory.

Her sleek skin was pure and untainted, it sparkled with the brilliance of the moon and the stars.

Her exposed white legs were long and her cute toes as delicate as lotuses.

Despite her rather small frame, her thighs were differently built, toned with supple and springy tender fresh that could enchant anyone.

Her eyelids suddenly twitched and gradually started opening.

Later on, a pair of mysterious slitted glowing blue eyes were exposed.

This girl was the Ice Phoenix, one of the three Supreme Water Attribute Divine Beasts.

She was a True God Expert that heralded from the Ancient Era.

She was currently staying deep in the Heavenly Netherfrost Lake to preserve the last bits of her life origin.

She was determined to wait and find the Evil God's inheritor that will descend to save the Realm of the Gods from the prophesied calamity but she hadn't expected that so much would happen in such a short duration.

It seems like ever since that mysterious young man came to the God Realm, the tides of fate became irregular and unpredictable.

With his arrival, an unprecedented calamity that threatened to return all of Primal Chaos to nothingness occurred unexpectedly!

This had made her hopeless as even during the Primordial Era of the Gods, both the powerful Creation Gods and True Gods could not withstand the aura of extinction from the Abyss of Nothingness.

It was a death zone that no one would survive if they were suddenly thrown into it.

She was currently weak, even in her prime form she wouldn't have been able to help the Primal Chaos which was slowly edging toward destruction.

She had wanted to use the last embers of her life origin to boost the child of fate who would salvage the situation in the Realm of the Gods but an anomaly like Noah had to appear.

This Noah was already powerful enough to even make her a dignified Ice Phoenix cower in fright while treading with caution in his presence.

With no future goals anymore, she felt that living had become meaningless.

She was already an ancient existence, having lived for over 5 billion years.

She wanted to pass all of her original powers to Mu Xuanyin so that she could finally have an Eternal rest just like her fellow True Gods of the Ancient Era.

Of course, if there was a miraculous chance of experiencing life again, she would gladly relish it.

Even though she had a cold look on her beautifully sculpted face, a tinge of loneliness could still be seen deep in her radiant blue eyes.

Staying in a stasis-like state for millions of years made her feel numb to some extent, and she yearned for some earnest talk with anyone, face to face.

To be more specific, it was Noah that she wanted to talk to so badly.

A being of immense wisdom like her couldn't help being curious about an anomaly that seemed to be unrestrained by the laws and order set by the Ancestral Goddess herself.

Using the power of Ice Origin, she formed an icy veil that blocked off the exit.

She knew that her strength was insufficient to stop this being from leaving if he wanted but she still chose to do so to announce her presence.

She just hoped that Noah wouldn't be unreasonable and find trouble with her due to her premeditated actions.

___

As Noah was leisurely walking toward the exit, he suddenly felt the mobilization of Ice Laws that proceeded to form an Icy Veil to block off his way.

No surprised look could be seen written on his face as if he had anticipated something like that to happen.

"Hmm, Ice Phoenix it seems staying down there for millions of years has made you quite bored I presume."

Noah's voice was low and relaxed but it easily penetrated the cold lake until it reached its depths, into the Ice Phoenix's cute ears.

Simply defying the laws of physics had become a norm to him.

It was as easy as breathing.

"Oh, I hope I haven't done something wrong young supreme. I just wanted to talk with you even if it's only for a minute." Her way of talking was careful, her voice slow and oozing with the wisdom of ages.

"There is no need for formalities 'senior'."

His voice was playful, as he put on a lot of emphasis on the word 'senior' to check on the Ice Phoenix's reaction.

"It seems you also have a knack for joking around young man. Seniority doesn't make sense in our situation. You are more powerful than me, so calling me like that feels like you are mocking me."

"Haha, I don't want to feel old-fashioned, so what can I call you then instead of 'Ice Phoenix'?"

Noah wanted to know her real name which was never mentioned in the novel.

He deemed it unnecessary to analyze her whole information.

That would only spoil the fun!

"I have lived for a long time without a formal name...why don't you give me one?" The Ice Phoenix asked, her voice was tense with anticipation and nervousness, unlike her usual calmness.

Noah decided to descend the Heavenly Netherfrost Lake and observe the expressions on her face easily.

He seamlessly walked on water and with each step that he took, the lake obediently parted ways to form a path that led to the bottom.

He looked like the Emperor of the seas and oceans with just this casual move.

Surely even Poseidon would have to acknowledge that fact!

Wasn't this similar to what the Biblical Moses did to the Red Sea?

It didn't take long before Noah arrived at the place where the Ice Phoenix was.

He saw an extremely beautiful girl who looked to be around 15 to 16 years old.

The glittering essence of ice and snow surrounded her, making her look more dream-like and transcendental.

A supreme cold aura converged on her slender figure like a thick blanket. This was due to her being a Supreme Water Attribute Divine Beast.

She wore a cold expression on her peerless face but that didn't hide in the slightest the accumulated wisdom in her radiant blue slits.

She seemed like a woman with fewer words compared to her other Supreme Divine Beasts like the Phoenix and the Golden Crow.

While Noah was admiring the view before him, the Ice Phoenix was also gauging him.

She also was kind of impressed by his natural handsomeness that defied logic and the way he walked with magisterial intent and regal steps, which made her even admire him even more.

He is a fine young man, she had to admit it to herself.

"We meet Noah...have you already come up with my name?" Despite her attempts to hide her eagerness with a cold look, Noah could easily see through her facade.

"Are you that anxious for me to name you?" Noah teased her.

A discernable blush appeared on her cheeks as she tried to hide her embarrassment with a cough.

"Okay, hmmm...I am not very good at naming people or things in general but I think I will try to come up with a good name for you."

Noah touched his beardless chin as he tried to think up a suitable name for the Ice Phoenix.

"White lotus, Crystal, Snow, Aurora, Xiao Xue...Ugh, naming is hard," Noah released a sigh.

"Bing... Bing'er, yeah I will just call you Bing'er," Noah finally said without thinking much about it.

Noah looked at the Ice Phoenix who was now silent after hearing her new name.

It was damn simple.

And why did it seem like a pet name?

She was a Supreme Divine Beast, darn it.

"Bing'er, from today onwards, I will be called Bing'er then." She could only accept it.

What she didn't know was that from the moment Noah named her, she had already become his pet.

She was oblivious to the evil glint in his eyes.
