I am a cultured man

[NOAH'S POV]

***

Hehe, that little girl...

She just had to barge into Mephisto's Hell Dimension.

She's still naive to think she can easily kill the Abstract Beings of Marvel without absolute power.

For example, a pest like Mephisto whose sole existence is supported by the ideas and evil of men.

If you want to blitz him into non-existence, you must have nigh-omnipotent or almighty powers.

It was simple, one just had to be a Tier 1 entity and above.

Caizhi was hardly low multiversal level - a level that screamed "fodder" in this boundless infinite multiverse of Marvel.

She was only at the level of a True God which was incomparable to the Creation God Realm.

That was something that she could accomplish if she put her mind to it.

I had previously wanted her to meet someone who would teach her a lesson but it seems luck was on her side and she met a poor fellow like Mephisto.

Spoiling her was good but... hehe, she should suffer some grievances and come to a realization about the importance of strength above all.

Her dependence on me and others should be toned down a little bit.

Maybe I should just allow Jasmine to stomp her so bad that she wished for unrivaled strength to retaliate against her sister's tyranny.

Hmm, that was a pretty good idea.

Anyway, so about Mephisto... I converted him to something that he would normally be repulsed by during normal days.

A hypocritical righteous figure.

I turned Mephisto into a Buddha and sent him to the heavenly realm where the Biblical God - born from the faith and religious beliefs of humanity - resides together with angels.

I bet there would be a lot of commotion in Heaven which I honestly wouldn't be bothered to care about.

Speaking of Buddha, this was something really interesting to me.

I wasn't a Buddhist or anything but I knew tidbits about the various mythology stories centered around Buddhism and Chinese mythology.

I remember watching a movie called "Journey to the West" in my previous life which was a story that focused on Sun Wu Kong and Gautama Buddha.

I had laughed very hard when the defiant Monkey King was suppressed by the Buddha Palm from Gautama Buddha himself.

Sun Wu Kong was truly something when wielding his golden staff.

Arrogant and unbridled enough to defy the Diabolical founder of Buddhism!

Anyway, it had been a good comedy nonetheless.

Recalling about that stuff lightened up an inspirational spark in me on how to easily destroy TOAA and the whole Marvel Multiverse.

It was just a thought and a very dangerous one boot.

I didn't linger on those thoughts for long since I currently I was in the presence of someone that needed salvation.

I had to shower light to the world of darkness surrounding our fan's favorite Wanda Maximoff.

___

"Look how happy they are with their real mother," I spoke in a low voice as I showed Wanda the projected view of an alternate reality where her variant is happy.

"Don't you think it will be selfish if you deprive them of their real mother?" I spat out facts.

"B-But... they are my c-children!" Wanda silently sobbed, clearly unresigned.

"They are not yours, Wanda. How will they feel if you suddenly took their mother away?"

"Let me show what would have happened if I hadn't intervened in your world."

I snapped my fingers and showed her the outcome of one of the possible futures, more specifically the follow-up events of the Multiverse of Madness franchise.

She looked at the images flashing, showcasing a possibility of her future self and the path she would have taken.

She saw all of it.

"My future is quite a mess," Wanda released a peal of dry laughter while she gently levitated down on the ground and I followed suit after storing Mobius Chair away.

She then touched her forehead, barely visible stress lines could be seen but that didn't offset her overall beauty.

Her eyes were a little bit red and showed signs of tiredness.

She looked vulnerable at that moment.

A perfect chance for me to step in and help her through her emotional disharmony.

I touched her cheek and gently caressed her.

"Hey, that's why I have a shoulder."

"Lean on me."

It sounded cringey but those were the words that came into my mouth.

"Stop using such corny lines. They won't work on me," She released a soft breath while chuckling lightly.

She leaned closer to feel the warmth of my hand with her eyes blissfully closed.

"Oh, but your body says otherwise."

I removed my hand from her, only to hear her grumbling.

She looked up at me, her head was slightly tilted.

She looked cute.

Devastatingly so.

"Hey, I don't want to come off too hard and needy but... can I use that "shoulder" of yours for comfort?"

Her eyes were unfocused and she didn't dare to look into my eyes.

"Oh, even our beautiful Wanda gets shy sometimes?" I teased her lightly as I started to slowly bridge the distance between us.

"Shut up and just hug me!"

She easily closed the distance between us and found her own safe haven in my chest.

She held me tightly as if I was going to leave her, constantly sniffing me like a puppy.

I was surprised by her courage.

"I think I have found my favorite scent, haha," She giggled against my chest, but her voice seemed sad and lonely.

I slowly but gently enclosed her small, petite figure in my arms.

She was soft like a doll and warm, all of the darkness and negative energy from the Darkhold had dissipated.

I felt a sudden moistness on my shirt.

She was silently crying and venting all her psychological stress.

She was tired and at the moment, she had found a shoulder to lean on even if it was just for a minute.

Since I was massively taller than her, I put my chin on her head while my hands lightly rubbed her back all the way to her curvy waist.

She tensed a little bit when she felt my warm hands on her waist but it didn't take long before she ignored it.

Silence.

It was a refreshing feeling as we just stood there hugging without a care in the world.

"Hey, I still don't know your name?"

She broke the silence after what felt like an eternity, not like it mattered.

"You know my name, Wanda."

"Haha, you got me there Noah."

"See."

"Anyway, I think I have cried out all my sorrows even if it is only a little bit."

"Then what next?"

"You said that you can give me children?"

Damn, she was blatant.

"How will you do that? Oh, I know. You wanted me, right?"

Silence.

I was speechless, my mouth tight-lipped.

She knew.

"Why aren't you answering Noah?"

"I am listening. And yeah, I have the way."

I had to be shameless in this situation. Extremely thick-skinned with extra vibranium armor.

She leaned back and locked her eyes with mine.

It was exciting and intense.

Her eyes then wandered to my lips, lingering there for a bit before returning once again to my eyes.

She seductively licked her red lips. "You get the memo?"

I leaned closer, the tips of our noses directly brushing.

"I am a cultured man!"

And we smiled at each other before disappearing from Kamar-Taj, not caring about the destruction that had previously happened.

The Dao of baby-making had to be taken seriously.
