Chapter 10

Originally when she stayed with A1 after the Coming of Age party she thought she would at most warm the bed for him and was constantly worried about her future.

But this all faded away when she was pregnant. Even if she doesn't get the position of the main wife, she is comfortable being a side woman or a concubine.

This is naturally extremely common for warriors in both men and women. Many women have multiple husbands based on their aptitudes and family backgrounds.

Naturally Betty wasn't so arrogant to assume she would be the only one, so she resided in the fact that she was paid a lot and was even more influential than the little miss she used to serve!

And it's believable that when she has a baby as long as he is talented she could live even better! After all, it's a proven fact that a baby is more likely to have a spiritual root if one or both of their parents do.

But Betty naturally didn't know that the system guaranteed that any baby born with a Dog of War will at least have a Rank 1 Spiritual Root.

So she is destined to be pleased in the future when she is the mother of a warrior.

Right now however she is basking in the fact that she is an influential madam.

''Haha actually it hasn't been publicly announced yet but my husband was recently promoted to the Middle of Rank 1 making him the most powerful in the organisation.'' Betty said with a little pride.

This statement made the surrounding wealthy madams stunned. Originally they thought that A1 was just a rung in the ladder, one of the supporting warriors. Never did they expect he was actually the leader.

(I will continue to refer to the Dogs of War as their assigned names even if other people are saying it to make it easier to keep it making sense.)

This is completely different, the leader is more than just a title. They have full control of the entire organisation including the other two warriors.

Even in the future if someone more powerful comes along the leader will remain the leader until he retires and becomes an Ancestor of the Warrior Organisation. A hidden card ready to protect the organisation or fulfil secret missions.

This is a permanent position of power, unchangeable unless the organisation is eliminated.

''Wow Betty you're so lucky, why can't I find someone like that.'' A whiny voice appeared to the right of Betty.

It was a young woman around 20, she was the daughter of one of the madams and was tagging along after she heard there was information on a warrior.

She was beautiful herself with willow eye lashes and green pupils, long flowing black hair and a small nose. Definitely qualifies as a local beauty.

''Actually Jane I have some news I can share with you, but you have to keep it a secret.'' Betty said as she leant over into Jane's ear.

''The other two warriors in the organisation are still single, although A2 is already 50 he is still vigorous in the eyes of warriors. And more importantly he's still single! I can invite you over if you want?''

Jane's eyes lit up when she heard this, even ignoring the 30 year age difference. This is the attraction of warriors no matter how old they can always draw attention much like billionaires on earth.

''Pleaseee Betty organise a meeting for me! I promise I will pay you back for this.'' Jane said beggingly as she grasped Bettys arm. This is the opportunity of a lifetime. A referral from the leader's wife!

No doubt Betty went on and pillow talked A1 into recommending Jane to A2. Soon after some simple… Persuasion, A1 agreed.

Of course this is the primary factor, it was Samuels advice that they should be constantly looking for potential talents and wives. Even linking backgrounds is beneficial for A2s company.

Therefore Jane makes a perfect candidate. Although Samuel has yet to see any specific talents that she has, just her background could bring in a few thousand credits each year.

And this small growth is what Samuel is looking for. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Any protagonist who can suddenly build an empire out of nothing is foolish, it takes generations of development and constant growth to build a steady foundation.

This includes allies, connections, children, future generations and constant supplies of resources.

Although it seems prestigious for A1 to make a warriors organisation, many are created each day across the world and equally many are destroyed after their leaders are accidentally killed in the Eternal Battlefield.

Speaking of which, A3 was currently exploring the battlefield and Samuel was alerted when he finally found something strange.

Samuel was sitting in a comfortable lounge chair with a few maids scurrying around taking care of him. No one would see him as a protagonist, rather he suited the role of a villain perfectly.

But Samuels eyes were white as his sight was currently mirroring A3s.

A3 was currently scurrying within a set of luscious green trees, a completely different environment to A1s previous adventure.

Loud crashing followed him as a giant scorpion bashed against thick trunks and chased viciously after him.

A3s skinny hand was currently grasping a small piece of bark. Almost indistinguishable to the bark on each tree, but the way A3 was grasping it showed that it definitely wasn't simple.

Of course Samuel knew what it was at a glance. Enchanted Bark, a relatively common but valuable resource.

It is used in almost every low level defensive weapon or Artifact causing its demand to far exceed its supply.

Each piece can easily sell for a couple of Spiritual Crystals, and the piece in A3s hand could sell for 5-6 to the right person.

And Samuel definitely planned to sell it. Not to mention he doesn't have any refiners in his organisation, even if he did the priority is to get more Dogs of War.

The main strength of his system comes from having a lot of Dogs of War allowing for endless potential and development.

But there was a bit of an issue. This Giant Scorpion at the Middle of Rank 1.
