Walls Hundreds of metres tall, easily tens of thousands of people guarding it routinely. Warriors sporadically spread out between the guards!
Behind the behemoths that are the walls you could see hundreds of large skyscrapers.
However the Walls were so high you couldn't see a single small building, as they were naturally all protected by the beasts of concrete.
But two things scorchingly stood out. On the largest skyscraper in the left compound there was a giant globe with a sword passed straight through the centre, the symbol of the Government.
And on the right a huge Shark bearing menacingly outwards as a trail of fish and aquatic creatures followed behind it. Naturally that is the symbol for the SeaLife Organisation.
These two compounds represent the two powerhouses of the City. The SeaLife Organisation with a Middle Rank 3 Warrior and the Government Building managed by a High Rank 3 Warrior.
Of course this is just on the surface. God knows what they have hidden beneath. Samuel and his Dogs of War didn't dare make a sound here and followed along with the rest of the crowd.
Soon everyone was crowded around the Martial Arts stadium, at first glance there were at least 400 warriors of various ranks each bearing various insignia.
Clearly these were a mixture of organisations from the entire city.
And already there was a hierarchical distinction forming. Standing closest to the stage were around a dozen of second rank warriors each representing a Rank E Organisation.
Many had weak beasts used as mounts next to them. This is a commonly seen thing, people capture and tame wild beasts from the Eternal Battlefield.
Alongside the dozen Rank 2 warriors were small entourages of Rank 1 warriors and they all seemed to surround a young man or woman.
However the treatment that the young people had was different. The difference between a contender and Placeholder are obvious.
Naturally every Organisation has to show up to participate, however they don't have anyone talented enough to win so a simple placeholder would be sent.
If they get a good position? Great! If not? It doesn't matter.
After all there are no big hopes for these people.
Following behind the Rank E Organisations were the stronger Rank F groups, often with a High Rank 1 Warrior and maybe one or two others.
Samuels group was actually one of the larger ones with the most Warriors. However they lacked the top combat power so they were stuck on the outer reaches with the weaker Warrior Organisations.
Samuel actually saw some familiar faces. Around him were many warriors whose children had married some of his Dogs of War.
Naturally they were bringing along their more talented children while the mortals were married to Samuels Dogs of War.
After some polite interactions A32 went up towards the Stage and climbed up to get signed up.
At the bottom of the raised stage a large golden arch flashing red was erected.
Whenever a contestant walked through the arch a red light would scan their body top to bottom before a number appeared on the small screen beside it.
The Ages ranged from 12-15, although younger people could become warriors they were considered too young to participate in these kinds of competitions.
They lacked the developed body, the combat skills and the mental awareness to be safe and actually stand a chance in the competition.
Of course Warriors can start practising as early as they want but how early you practice also depends on your talent.
A32 isn't the youngest in the group and isn't the oldest. His arrival only caused some peoples faces to turn when they saw the unfamiliar Organisations logo. However there wasn't too much commotion after all things change every year.
Soon A32 was lined up with around 50 other children. It might not seem like many but this is still a large number in the eyes of many organisations.
After all most Rank F Organisations only have 3-4 warriors! And most of them are older.
All these 50 people have the potential to become a strong person in the future and many of them are the future inheritors of the Organisations.
Especially the 6 people at the front, each radiated the Aura of a Middle Rank 1 Warrior. That is already enough to beat most of the leaders who are here today.
Naturally no one doubted that these 6 would be the forerunners in the competition, the rest of the competitors are actually just background characters.
And so the competition started.
A32 was matched up with a Low Rank 1 Warrior around 16. He was from a small F Rank force.
Naturally there was little competition for A32 who had access to better resources. A32 easily cut the weak steel sword in half with his Pseudo-Artifact and crushed the boy.
And the competition continued, 25 people were left.
The following round was no longer an elimination match but a round robin tournament. A32 was doing well until his fourth opponent.
''Ah you did well newcomer unfortunately you're now against me.'' A stereotypical villain line.
The one facing A32 was a 18 Year old Genius from a Rank E Organisation. He was born with a 2 Inch Spiritual Root and his family hope that he will be a cornerstone of the group in the future.
Naturally facing him, the A32 was pushed back almost immediately. Every hit between Pseudo-Artifacts caused heavy sparks but A32 arms began to tremble after only 3 exchanges.
The man seemed to be excited watching this and hit even harder.
His muscles tensed as his leg swung heavily towards A32s head!
A32 hurriedly pulled his arm up to block but a sickening crack rang out.
And just like that the battle was over. A32 had his arm broken and the man was unharmed. This is the true difference between ranks and an Organisation raised Genius.
Although A32 has access to more materials than other Rank F Geniuses, it is still pitiful compared to Rank E Geniuses.
Raised eating spiritual rich meat harvested from various beasts, every drink filled with various herbs and grasses, even the odd Spiritual fruit was mixed into his dinners.
Naturally he is much more powerful than others.
A32 was heavily injured, but luckily the Government who ran this had long since thought of it. They brought along a Rank 2 Warrior with incredibly powerful healing spells to take care of the injuries.
Of course the Government can't host a tournament which leaves all the geniuses injured, that surely wouldn't go down well.
