So it will take another three years minimum for Samuel to break through. Of course that's with his current Dogs of War.
He receives a lot of Spiritual Crystals each year but doesn't use many for summoning Dogs of War. Because he has too many resources to buy.
However he now decided to spend more resources on Summoning. He only has 3 Ordinarily Summoned Dogs of War with a 2 Inch Spiritual Root.
But they have been incredibly unlucky. They had 2 children each, but they only had 1 Inch Spiritual Roots.
This is the result of stronger warriors struggling to have as many Children. And the system only guarantees that each dog of war will have a Spiritual root.
Not that they will have their parents' spiritual Root.
Samuel has a disposable income of around 2,000 Spiritual Crystals each year from all sources.
So for the next year he decided to split it up, 1,000 used on a 2 Inch Spiritual root and the other thousand on 1 Inch Spiritual Roots.
A year had passed since he kidnapped Rebecca. Over time he didn't really interact with her, but she wasn't mistreated.
She was untied after the first three months but a golden collar was placed on her neck, this costed Samuel 300 Spiritual Crystals and was a Low Mortal Artifact.
Its sole purpose was to restrict the manipulation of Spiritual Energy and weaken the physical strength.
Samuel still provided Rebecca with three amazing meals a day, of pure beast meat.
Much better than her meals at her own house!
Even Rebecca sighed at her treatment, other than being on house arrest she had lived an amazing life.
The room had been renovated to her personal liking, the clothes she wore were more expensive than she had ever purchased before.
She was even surprised to find that they provided her with medicinal drinks each week.
Her family definitely weren't poor. But their money had to be split between 6 Warrior siblings.
Rebecca didn't know what happened but most of their family income seemed to suddenly vanish from their savings.
She didn't know that it was actually Marcus using it for his own system.
If it wasn't for the resources given by her eldest sister, Rebecca wasn't confident to have broken through to High Rank 1 for the next six or seven years!
However, as a captive here, she received a lot of herbs!
She also realised that the forces that caught her were definitely much stronger than she imagined.
She was let out of her room once a month for some light, but she was shocked by the massive amount of guards around the courtyard.
As Samuel summoned more Dogs of War, he moved another 500 over to the Courtyard.
And he purchased the entire neighbourhood and filled it with the Dogs of War.
When Rebecca saw so many guards, both High Rank 1, Middle Rank 1 and Low Rank 1, she immediately gave up on escaping.
However Abigail hadn't given up on finding Rebecca. She and her five other Warrior sisters all searched far and wide for her.
Abigail even got her Seventh sister to ask the Dogs of War to help search. Of course Samuel did check on the surface.
But Abigail couldn't even find a trace of her sister. She didn't know that there were thousands of Warriors around the city all covering up the tracts.
However, after another month, shocking news came! Abigail's sixth sister was kidnapped!
Rebecca looked at her sixth sister Lacy in dismay. Especially when he saw the silver collar as well.
The Silver Collar is a cheaper version of her collar, but the purpose was the same.
''Rebecca this is where you are!'' Lacy was a blonde busty woman. However she was quite young. Only 17.
She was the weakest Warrior of the bunch, only Low Rank 1 however she had a happy and cheerful personality.
But now her cute almond eyes were tearing up when she saw her missing sister.
Immediately she ran over and hugged her sister heavily. The Dogs of War around the edges glanced at the scene before fixing their eyes away from the interaction.
''Relax Lacy, it's ok now. These people might be keeping us captive but they aren't really doing anything.'' Rebecca began to appease her sister trying to get the information she wanted.
''So how did they catch you Lacy?'' Rebecca asked when Lacy finally stopped crying.
''Sniffle… I don't really know! I noticed a black robed man and thought of the description of the kidnappers so I followed him. But before I could react I got jumped by twenty robed figures and before I knew it I was here.'' Lacy replied between sniffles.
Rebecca looked at her teary sibling and sighed. She walked towards one of the Dogs of War at the entrance.
''Can you please let my sister go? She hasn't got anything to do with this!'' Rebecca said with a hint of pleading on her face.
She didn't want her siblings to get involved in this.
But as usual, she didn't get any response. But from then on Rebecca at least had someone to talk to.
Four months later, Samuel was crouched on the top of a flat building looking down at the passing convoy.
More specifically, it was the beautiful girl in a set of armour. All the guards around the convoy had matching armour, and in the centre was a large metal vault.
This is a trading convoy. Usually they are only put together when a lot of products are being traded.
The vaults are built with Space Arrays, and the stuff they can fit is easily fifty to sixty football fields worth.
However this one is a small lock box sized vault. Samuel had already researched the background of the vault; it was being sent to a Rank E organisation in another city.
Apparently inside is just the building supplies for a Rank E Organisation to build a new compound in the other city.
But through Samuels extensive network of Organisations, he heard that it is actually a very valuable object, but he doesn't know what.
So Samuels aim today is that Vault, and the armed girl.
