Chapter 158

''Dad, I did it! I'm a warrior!'' She cried happily and leapt over to hug Samuel.

''Well done, I knew you could do it. Now take a bath, it will make you feel better.'' Samuel replied with a doting smile.

He was worried that she might feel uncomfortable becoming a warrior so he had specifically prepared a large medicinal bath for her.

After she was bathed and changed, she ran over and hugged Samuel once again. She didn't know how to control her power however and Samuel felt a large force hit his chest.

Luckily he was strong enough and it didn't affect him.

Over the years, Samuels practice had still stagnated at the Peak of Middle Rank 2, however Gargions life simulations provided a decent amount of strength to him.

Unfortunately Gargion also seemed unable to break through High Rank 1 in any of his simulations.

Samuel gave out a slight cough and patted Lily on the head.

''You can stay home for the week and get used to your strength.'' As Samuel spoke he reached out and took a small golden ring from his pocket.

It had some exquisite carvings on it depicting the stages of a human's growth.

''This is a space storage ring. You can put whatever you want in here and take it out when you want. But try not to use it in front of people.''

''It will also hide your practice. For your safety don't tell anyone you don't trust that you are a warrior.''

Samuel said sternly as he placed the ring on her finger.

After that Samuel accompanied Lily to control her strength, then left her under the care of two professional instructors with the Mentorship talent to help her learn.

When Samuel left the underground training room, he turned his head. Immediately fifty figures appeared and kneeled in front of her.

These were the Dark Guards that Samuel had personally been training. He had purchased a Spiritual Conductor just for this purpose many years ago.

Right now he has two hundred Dark guards trained, the minimum strength is Middle Rank 1.

They receive the most resources and Spiritual Fruits, each of their combat power is elite among the warriors.

There are as many as 20 High Rank 1 Warriors. Five of which were kneeling in front of Samuel.

Their purpose? Protecting people Samuel cares about. Different from the bodyguards that Lily can manage, these Dark Guards listen to Samuel alone.

They have been trained in the skills of espionage, even warriors at a small rank higher than them couldn't spot them.

More noticeable was a black demon mask on their faces. This is a Pseudo-Artifact that all Dark Guards wear. However its effect is quite strange.

There is a main artifact that connects all of these Pseudo-Artifacts together. It is a long distance communication device.

Luckily there are many devices like this, so the price wasn't too high. Samuel just had to supply the production resources for the Pseudo-Artifact masks to his own refiners.

The main Artifact was purchased from outside in secret.

Alongside the mask, they each have a Pseudo-Artifact robe. It covers the dark guards' presence, better boosting their stealth skills.

And the rest of the equipment is geared towards it as well. Although not Pseudo-Artifacts, they have top of the line shoes that cover the sound of footsteps, and hoods that prevent air resistance and noise when moving.

Altogether they are definitely the elites of all of Samuel's dogs of War.

''Ensure that she's safe. Anything that happens to her will be returned tenfold to you. Do you understand?'' Samuel spoke with a stern look.

He didn't want anything to happen to his daughter, especially now she is wearing a valuable space ring and is a young warrior.

''Yes master!'' All of them shouted unanimously and then disappeared into the shadows.

Of course Lily has her own warriors, the two hundred man force are still training in the back of her castle.

Not to mention her maids and some other attendants Samuel has given her. And Sabrina herself also takes good care of her daughter.

Even the two hundred soldiers that Lily owns are temporarily trained and managed by Sabrina's professionals.

Overall Lily has very little responsibilities. Her finances are all paid for her, she receives a hundred thousand credits a month as an allowance.

She won't take control of her Warriors until she is at least 16. Samuel didn't want her distracted or to be involved in fights until she's mature.

So time flew for Lily, finally she reached ten years old. She had grown from a child to a young girl, her good looks inherited from Sabrina and Samuel appeared on her face.

Currently she was chatting with her friend from school.

''Hey Lily, you never did tell me where you got that ring.'' The girl coquettishly stood next to Lily's desk and spoke.

''Ah, my Dad gave it to me for my Sixth Birthday.'' Lily smiled happily and played with the ring on her finger.

''I'm so jealous! Your family must be really rich.'' The girl replied, her eyes showed a flash of shrewdness. She doesn't know Lily's background in fact none of the class do.

Everyone else often boasted about their family, but Lily and Mathias were the only mysteries.

People only knew that Lily definitely came from an influential family. Because of her good looks and thes clothes that she wears. Not to mention the changing followers that pick her up.

And for Mathias, he is just tight lipped, people even think he comes from a poor family and got into the school from luck.

''Haha my family is alright! But you're not bad yourself. Didn't your dad say he would buy you a dress if you do well in your exam?'' Lily replied, skipping past the statement about her family.

While Lily was talking with her friend, a sudden exclamation rang out from the room.

''Becca did you steal this from your sister?'' A haughty voice appeared.

Lily looked over only to see a ugly girl pointing a fat finger at the cowering Becca.

Ten year old Becca was still as thin and sickly as she was when Lily first saw her. In fact she had felt pity for her a few times and often left her some delicious foods that her dad gave Lily.

Unfortunately it seems like she never receives any of the presents.

What Lily didn't know was that Missy would take the food she left for Becca.

Lily recognised the Haughty girl, she was just one of Missys followers, and came from a relatively low status family in the class.
