''Neil get down here!''
She shouted loudly and a set of footsteps rang out.
Jessica stared at the top of the stairs and was immediately amazed. Her face turned red instantly.
The little boy looked very smart. Dressed in a buttoned down suit and had a muscular and streamlined body. Despite being only ten the warrior in him made him grow to 5'7 already!
His face was handsome with a well-defined jaw and a set of pearly white teeth set off by two little tiger fangs.
''You must be Jessica. My name is Neil. It is nice to meet you.''
He gave a happy and childish smile. However his smile distracted Jessica. The Female Guard looked down and saw Jessica's face and shook her head.
''Jessica.''
She whispered slightly.
''Ah yes! I am Jessica it's nice to meet you!''
Quickly a conversation began between the group.
The Female BodyGuard stood behind this time. Her job was to accompany Jessica. But unknowingly she added pressure onto Neil's mother.
''Neil, it seems like this little girl's background is more than we expected. If you can marry her there should be no problem for you to outdo your brothers.''
The mother showed a slightly determined look. A girl that can be accompanied by such strong warriors definitely isn't simple.
In fact this marriage was organised by her husband. She originally didn't hold out hope, thinking they might just be from an ordinary Rank E Organisation or even weaker!
But what Rank E organisation could send out 2 High Rank 2 Bodyguards for a little girl? Clearly they are much stronger than she thought.
When the mother figured this out, the conversation turned more and more happy. The mother also attempted to gain some knowledge from Jessica.
''So Jessica did you enjoy shopping before you came here?''
The mother asked with a kind smile.
''Yes! Father gave me plenty of money.''
Jessica childishly smiled and pulled out a large handful of Spiritual Crystals, causing the mother and son to widen their eyes in surprise.
But it wasn't over. Later Jessica felt that her tea was too cold, and a red stone on the pendant on her hair glowed red as a small flame appeared below the tea cup.
All of this fell into the mothers eyes as she got more and more excited.
This was definitely a big fish. With this her son would be able to become the City Lord in the future!
Like most families, there is a competition between the children and concubines alike. Neil has hundreds of brothers and sisters. The only thing that makes him stand out is his Alchemy talent.
But that isn't enough to bring him to the position of City Lord. At most he could become a respected alchemist in the city under the City Lord.
But now, with Jessica's support everything is different.
The meeting came to an end that evening. It was decided that Jessica would spend the rest of the week with Neil to cultivate feelings.
Of course this is the work of the Nosey mother. However the Female guard had no authority or need to refuse. It is in the best interests of both parties for them to agree.
At the same time, Samuel had finished organising the gains from the recent invasion. He gained a lot of Spiritual Crystals, at least a hundred thousand.
Not to mention plenty of books and resources.
All the books were handed to the Research Department. Maybe it could help them produce body refining techniques for Mortals sooner.
In fact, Samuel found that he missed an incredibly valuable object the first time he looked.
In his hands was a run down leather book. It was easily thousands of pages long and was as heavy as brick.
It was placed beside the warrior skills, but it was inconspicuous so Samuel ignored it at first. However when he opened it he found it was actually the Old Heads diary!
It not only depicted all his adventures and who he offended and befriended. But it included his practice experience!
The practice of a High Rank 3 Warrior is incredibly valuable. If a warrior can get it, they would be able to use it to avoid any mistakes that would damage their foundation.
If the Old Head had this from the beginning he might've been able to break through to Rank 4 without the mistakes of his youth!
But now it is cheaper for Samuel. Of course it's effect is weaker than the Inheritance Hall he got. But the Inheritance Hall was limited.
Only one child can use it each year for their bloodline and the strength of the Dogs of War definitely haven't reached the level of High Rank 3.
Immediately Samuel asked someone to copy this book, and placed the original within a large library in the Family Headquarters.
After all, the Original is tainted with the aura of the writer. Reading it can get double the results as reading a copied version.
Currently within the Family Library there are thousands of books. Many of the strong descendants and the strong Dogs of War wrote their experiences down and placed them here.
But it is just a drop in the bucket in comparison to the entire Library. Samuel also spent a lot of money to purchase instruction books from various institutions to fill it up, alongside all sorts of books about different fighting styles.
You can often see young Children wandering around reading all about it. Perfecting and refining their practice.
Someday Samuel hopes to include everything in the Family Library. Make it a deep source of knowledge for everyone.
Since then half a year has passed.
Having experienced the strong combat power of the Dogs of War, the HiveTriad were unwilling to start another war. Instead they surprisingly took another route.
They approached Samuel with 50,000 Spiritual Crystals and a Middle-Level Artifact and requested peace.
Of course Samuel accepted.
Not to mention that he doesn't know where else they have planes, but the current head broke through to High Rank 3!
Although Samuel has enough Middle Rank 3 Warriors to blockade him temporarily, they can't destroy the HiveTriad.
It is better to accept peace temporarily and attack later.
But in the absence of a war with the HiveTriad. Samuel felt it was too easy to just fight the Rose Family at one time.
He has a lot of warriors and is very interested in taking on another organisation. It is the quickest way to gain resources and treasures.
