Connor looked stern. And Macy nodded. They knew the importance of this for their father, if they can add another 8 siblings to Viviana's palace it would be a large increase in influence.

''I am going to the library. You should talk to the other children and use your physique to find us some allies. It would be better if you can find a backer for us.''

Connor quickly left the room and headed towards the palace library.

It was a giant pavilion standing beside the Bottomless Crystal palace, with dozens of strong guards at the entrance.

Connor quickly showed his task scroll to the guards at the entrance and went inside. However he was shocked by the number of books.

''Isn't this… too many?''

Connor saw hundreds of rows of bookshelves, each ten or twenty rows high! There were easily tens of thousands of books here!

''Woah, this isn't going to be easy.''

Connor had the same look as the other handymen attempting to become scholars.

Quickly he ran forward and grabbed the first book.

As Connor continued to read, the more interested he got. He knew about his fathers research into this, and although this is the most basic information there was potentially some missing from his fathers research.

After all the information the Government has is far higher than other forces.

For Connor and the other scholars, it is access to countless books about various subjects.

With that thought in mind, Connor began to focus more on the books. Getting through one every hour.

All the knowledge was remembered by him and at the end of each day he would write down all that he learnt in multiple sets of books, attempting to shrink it while.

And spare copies were directly sent to his family.

Samuel was extremely happy to receive constant books filled with information from his son. After the children were taken, he enjoyed a brief celebration but was quickly sent home.

Leaving only the 20 BloodGuards for Macy to bring under her control later.

However his inability to see the new baby Viviana didn't matter, because now he knew the premise behind the childrens recruitment.

He is confident that within seven years they will both complete their tasks. And then Sameul can send eight more children!

Each of them will also receive their own tasks! All of this represents an endless stream of knowledge and resources coming into the family.

Of course he knows this is the Government's plan. To get the organisations to willingly send their children in to be indoctrinated, or controlled through spells.

Once they complete the task they must have a tattoo imprinted on them that should ensure their loyalty.

Samuel couldn't help but murmur as he handed a book to the researchers beside him.

This was the book compiled by Connor in his first week there. It contains a few of the most basic pieces of information for mortals to practise.

And Connor was right in guessing that even though Samuel has a lot of the information, there is still a lot of the basics missing. Especially in such details.

''Family Head, if we continue to get a few more detailed books like this it is possible to decrease the price of practising by 5%!''

One of the researchers quickly scanned the book and was amazed. Handing it to another warrior to get copied and reproduced.

''Impressive.''

Samuel nodded happily.

Currently, the research is constantly ongoing. However there haven't been any major improvements. After all this isn't a matter of centuries or even millenia.

At the moment, the Lanford Body Refining Practice, as Samuel named it, can increase a mortal's strength to the level of a pro athlete. And it can allow them to be illness free for a century!

However this isn't too good. Especially since a lot of Spiritual Aura is required to be used. Only the concubines of the Lanford Family are qualified to practise it at the moment.

But Samuel naturally wants to lower the price so all the Mortals can practise it. If that happens the luck of the family and comprehensive quality of the family would increase countless times!

After all, there are hundreds of millions of Mortals, if each of them can have the physical strength of athletes, it would increase the bloodline massively. And make many things so much easier!

And if the Lanford Body Refining Practice can improve further, to the level of producing mortals with the strength of warriors, it would be absolutely absurd.
