Chapter 16

I heard my alarm ringing, waking me up from my slumber. I search for my phone and turned off the alarm. I looked at the time, it's still 5 AM in the morning. I only slept for 2 hours but that's is more than enough for me. As usual, I do some warm ups first before I do my work outs, but this time I'm not doing it alone. After I finished warming up my body, I came out of my room, then headed to my little brother room. I knocked 3 times before calling his name out while opening the door to wake him up.

"Oii! Ise! Wake up! It's training time... !"(Tatsuya)

"5 more minutes mom..."(Issei)

"Stop dreaming, get up blockhead!"(Tatsuya) I said while kicking him out from the bed.

"Ahh... ouch... Huh? What? Why am I sleeping on the floor?"(Issei)

"You're awake, now go change your clothes. Your training starts today."(Tatsuya)

"Huh? What?"(Issei)

And that is the day I started my plan to train Issei to be a better person. I started by making him do some light workout first, Saitama style Lite version. The real version which I usually do consist of 100 situps, 100 pushups, 100 squats, and a 6.2-mile (10-km) run, plus some pullups at the park. And the Lite version is just half of it.

For my workout program in my past life, it includes sit ups, pushups, pullups, running, marching with a heavy backpack, swimming, and more. Army combat fitness tests include timed workout efforts such as seeing how many pushups you can do in 60 seconds. I still remember my days when I first joined the army, it was hell for someone who never work out before, I mean can you imagine a newbie was forced to workout 12-14 hours a day, Monday through Saturday. So the truth is I was going easy on him, but not for long... he he he.

"From now on If I said something, you do it. And you will also call me sir, do you understand?"(Tatsuya)

"Is this really necessary, because I-"(Issei)

"Do you understand?" I shouted, making Issei flinched.

"Sir yes Sir!"(Issei) Issei stood straight, a bit scared as his older brother is not really the shouting type of person, instead he was a very lazy person.

"Good." I nodded. "There are 3 main things that I will teach you in this training program. How to build your body, basic combat techniques, and some martial arts."(Tatsuya)

'And how to fix that pervert habit of yours of course.'(Tatsuya) I said silently in my heart.

"Why do I need to learn about basic combats and martial arts?"(Issei)

"Silence!"(Tatsuya) I said sternly, making Issei gulp his saliva.

"You will only speak if I allow you to speak, otherwise if you even mutter a word, I will add more sets of work outs in your program. Understood?"(Tatsuya)

"Yes sir!"(Issei)

- 5 minutes later-

"*pant* *pant* Nii-san, I-I can't do it anymore."(Issei)

"What in the fucking hell do you mean you can't go on? Are you fucking serious about getting yourself a pussy to fuck? And with whose permission did you allowed to speak!? That's 1 more set for you to do, now do as I say, go up! Down! Up! Down!"(Tatsuya)

-30 minutes later-

"My legs is already sore and wobbly, Nii-san... Please let me rest."(Issei)

"Keep your legs running private! Don't you dare stop or I'm going crack your nuts. Now move!"(Tatsuya)

-1 hour later-

"*pant* *pant*... I-I ca-can't go o-on...."(Issei)

" Keep going, unless you want to run again."(Tatsuya)

"No! I will do it..."(Issei) With a deep breath, he took a sloppy stance, and continue doing his work out.

-2 hours later-

I looked at the disheveled condition of my little brother who is currently almost passed out, laying down on the street. He is laughing silently like a mad man, I think I had traumatized him and made him lose his mind now. Well, he will get better soon so no problem here.

"Good job, you have finished your training for this morning, Now let's go back home. I have something to do later so we won't have any training later after school, but I can assure you that we will continue tomorrow."(Tatsuya)

"Yo-you mean we wi-will train in the morning and after school as well???"(Issei)

"What do you mean, we will do it 3 times a day, in the morning, after school, and before we go to bed. Do you copy me?"(Tatsuya)

"Yes... Sir..."(Issei)

"Good. Look forward for summer holiday okay..."(Tatsuya)

'*gulp* Since when did my brother become the final boss itself?'(Issei) He thought silently with dread.

After that, I picked up my little brother who still can't walk and went back to our house. I carry him to his room, and then went back to my own room to shower. As I enter my room, unexpectedly Maiev was there, waiting for me. She looks quite troubled and curious about something.

"What's wrong, Maiev?"(Tatsuya)

"Young lord, I'm curious about something. Why did my lord chose to turn yourself to a demon? They are creatures that embodiment chaos and darkness itself. And what I'm confused about is why did you accept to become that girl subordinate so easily like that? Those stray devils that I hunted before said that being a part of peerage is the same as being their slave, and I think my lord would have already known about that fact... So why did you still do it?"(Maiev)

"Maiev... first of all, the devils in this world is different from those demons you had face before. In this world, those individuals you called as demons are just another race that looks like human, but with some additional powers so don't include them in the same category."(Tatsuya)

"And as for why I become a part of Sona peerage member, I did it because I need an immediate power increase. As you can see, my ability that can bring your race back again is of course a very powerful ability but unfortunately that ability can only do that. And for me to get stronger, I need to find a way to do it myself. "Then... is that your only reason to turn into a devil, young lord? I don't think that is your only purpose here. And also, you have us as your subordinate to protect you my lord, you should put more trust on us my lord."(Maiev)

"This is not about my trust toward you and the others, Maiev. This is about my own will that yearn to be strong, and becoming a devil is just a shortcut to achieve it. And of course my purpose is not just to become strong. As I will marry Sona, there will be a chance for me to become the lord of the Sitri house in the future, which can add more strength to our force. And I don't plan to stay as her subordinate either. Damn, I can't calm myself at all. Currently,I am waiting here together with the other Sona peerage member. As for Sona herself, she went ahead to get her parents. They had decided to do the meeting here, in this room. About 30 minutes later, Sona came back and said that they will come shortly.

I got myself ready and sat next to Sona,while her peerage stood still behind us. Not long after that, a magic circle appeared with the Sitri household symbol, and then a pair of man and woman appeared. The man had a straight short black hair and blue eyes. He has visible wrinkles on his hollow face, which makes him seem gentle in appearance, but his eyes are as sharp as an eagle's. He was very tall, about 78.7 inches, and his body might be quite lean, but his back was broad.

As for the woman, she had a straight long black hair and violet eyes. She look very young, just like someone in their teens, but she has that mature aura surrounding her. She looks a lot like Sona, but her eyes are gentle, different with Sona sharp eyes. She had a slim but voluptuous body and can be considered as tall for a woman, about 67.2 Inches.

When our gaze met, I immediate greeted them.
