Welcome to the Mansion

He goes inside the mansion.

This place has such a gloomy, unwelcoming vibe; something is really strange. Art is ruminating inside his head.

A man with an enraged expression and an extremely black aura suddenly emerges in front of Art.

"he's Mr. Korn who will take your interview." The attendant knelt and informed Art.

Art swallowed his fear.

"he..hello sir, I am here for the servant interview." Art attempted to act respectfully toward Korn by bending down in front of him. Korn chose to ignore him and take a seat in front of Art on a couch.

"What makes you want to work here? "Have you not heard the rumors that surround me and this location?" Korn's question in a low voice made Art even more terrified. Still, he summoned the courage to respond, saying, "Yes, sir, I have heard all the rumors about you and this place but I am a very poor and homeless person I need work to survive and also if I am going to be dead here no one will care about me not even myself because if I will be scared to work here then I am surely going to die from hunger or cold outside so the rumors don't affect me at all." Art expressed it all at once.

"hmm, interesting, well you got the job. Tomorrow Uncle Chan will go retrieve your belongings and explain your work to you. I will give you one more day to consider whether you truly want to work here, but once you sign the contract, you won't be allowed to leave the mansion or speak with outsiders without my consent. Uncle Chan will hand the contract over to you; make sure to read it carefully. Over servants stay in the mansion." Korn responded and walked out of there.

Uncle Chan gave Art the contract documents and said, "Mr. Art, this is the contract that Mr. Korn mentioned." Uncle Chan said, "Let me drop you outside to your taxi."

Art simply nodded in response and went after Uncle Chan. He was debating whether or not he should take this job on the way back home. He was so terrified of Korn that he wondered how terrified his other family members would be as well.

When he got home at night, he noticed that his phone was off. He turned it on to charge, and when he opened it, he discovered that he had a ton of missed calls from his friend Ohm. so he gave him a quick call back. Ohm was so frightened for Art that he started yelling at him when he answered the phone.

"Oh. I assumed aliens had abducted you and devoured you without roasting you, but you're still here, my friend." Ohm bellowed.

"Oh, I went to a job interview today and I'm so weary that I'm not in the mood to listen to your ranting." With extreme fatigue, Art answered while lying on the bed.

"You have employment? Why is it that you have to work? You ought to concentrate on your future coursework. I labor on your behalf. Is this not sufficient already?" questioned Ohm.

"Well, I don't want to continue being a burden for you. This is final; I am going to do the task. I'm done arguing with you about this, and I'm not going to study anymore. Since you are my sole family, I hope you will understand me." To which Art replied.

Ohm sighed, "huh.""At the very least, tell me about your job," Ohm voiced with great concern.

"It's an employee at the renowned Korn Family," Art answered.

"what at that bastard Kim's house?" Ohm yelled.

"you know Mr. Kim?" Art questioned in a startled tone.

"Yes, He did occasionally visit a coffee shop. He flirts so much. Every time he returned, he brought a new companion. It's still not too late, so are you sure you want to do this?" questioned Ohm anxiously.

"Don't worry I want to do this." Art answered in a composed tone.

Ohm responded, "Then you better be careful with that bastard."

"ok, I am going to sleep now I am tied BYE." Art said.

"Ok, bye, and take care," Ohm said.

EARLY NEXT MORNING...

On his first day of work as a servant and spy, Art gets up early to notify his spy agency that he is heading to the Korn home.

He rang the chief, saying, "Hey, chief, I'm going to spy on Mr. Korn, but he told me that once I work there, I can't contact anyone outside without his permission, so how am I going to provide you the information?" questioned Art.

The chief replied in a serious voice, "You don't need to be worried; we will contact you when needed. Just remember to be careful."

Art said, "Okay, sir," and hung up the phone.

Art's phone rang again, and he got ready. It was an unidentified number.

"Mr. Art we are sending our car with a diver to pick you up, so please get ready and the car will arrive there at 9:30 am." Uncle Chan was the caller.

"ok, Have already packed my stuff." Art answered.

Art heard a car horn outside his house at nine-thirty. Art then gathered his belongings and stepped outdoors.

I don't know if I will be able to get in touch with Ohm, but I have already told him that I will only be able to do so on the weekends! Traveling to the mansion, Art pondered.

The journey to the mansion didn't take too long. Uncle Chan was waiting for Art outside the mansion when he arrived.

Uncle Chan inquired, "How was your ride to the mansion, Mr. Art?"

"It went well, I appreciate you giving the ride," Art answered.

The reason they are being so friendly to a service is very odd. According to Chief, they never showed previous staff any kindness or gave them a ride.

Uncle Chan added, "Mr. Korn is waiting for you inside."

"huh, for me." pointed a finger at himself and asked Art.

Yes, Mr. Art. Mr. Korn expects you. Uncle Chan said, "Please follow me."

Art nodded and began quietly following Uncle Chan.

Art was told to enter the room by Uncle Chan when they arrived at a room with an air of royalty. Soundlessly, Art stepped inside the room.

"May I please enter, Sir?" Art mumbled quietly.

Korn answered from the balcony of his room, "Hmm."

"You are waiting for me, Sir Uncle Chan informed me. Can I help you in any way?" reluctantly questioned Art.

"I wanted you to know directly that you will serve me personally. Therefore, serving others is not necessary. Did you understand correctly?" Korn spoke with a grave and profound tone.

"Yes, sir," Art answered."

One other thing: avoid going to the basement at all costs. Is that understood correctly?" Korn enquired once again.

"Yes, sir," Art answered.

"Uncle Chan will explain the work and rest regulations to you. You can now depart."

With a nod, Art exited the space.

I felt he had learned something unsettling about me. I nearly passed out from dread. thought Art.

"So should I start explaining your work to you, Mr. Art?" asked Uncle Chan, who was standing outside the room waiting for Art.

"Yes, Uncle," Art answered.

"You are going to be Mr. Korn's servant, just as Mr. Korn informed you. Not every person in the house needs to be followed. Only Mr. Korn and Mr. Kim remain in the mansion since Mr. Korn's mother and father do not live there. Although recently I've been serving Mr. Kim, I also served their parents when they visited. I will now give you an explanation of Mr. Korn's schedule." Art followed Uncle Chan around the home to fully comprehend every aspect so that he could add Art to his list of good servants. Uncle Chan carefully went over each detail with Art.

He was making an effort to document every detail on his notepad (the mansion's gatekeeper had secured his phone, so he was unable to record anything on it).

"Ouch," Art became irritated. when he bumped into a tall man by mistake.

Art apologized immediately, "sir."

"Well, who's that Uncle Chan?" questioned, bending to get a clear look at Art's face, at the figure in front of Kim.

Uncle Chan answered, "He is Mr. Korn's new servant."

"And he is Mr. Kim's elder brother, Mr. Korn." Uncle Chan turned to face Art, explaining the figure to him.

He must be the bastard person Ohm told me about, hmm. Art thought.

"I apologize, sir, for not paying attention," Art said.

"Oh my goodness, it's okay. But it saddens me that such a sweetheart like you is ignoring me." Kim said to Art.

"huh" Art got confused.
