Chapter 7: My First Authority Part 1

"BEGIN!"

Within an instant ice javelins were sent to my location aiming at me with pin point accuracy. I steadily dodged a few of them but one managed to graze my torso leaving a small wound .He continued to bombard me with ice spears but I just slashed them away with my spear and even my chi infused hand. The instant he decided to stop I propelled myself off a wall and threw my spear at him.

He managed to evade my projectile but was met with a stern punch to the face that sent him flying to the ground. Not waiting for the officer to recuperate I punched intending to hit him but he dodged and I just hit the ground below us resulting in a devastating shockwave.

Using my strength I blew away the cloud and punched into the mans chest knocking him into the arenas walls with a loud crash.

"I thought Oraths dog would do better than that, are you not going to use any sort of bending" Jade asked.

"I cant"

"What?"

"Im a non-bender"

After hearing this the viewers gasped and began to gossip amongst themselves.

"So Orath really just sent you to your demise didnt he i will enjoy making you scream."

"You should've just told me you wanted to hear screaming Officer Jade, I would've invited you to your moms place last night and you would've heard a load of it, she really knows how to take a d-"

Before i even got to finish my sentence dozens of water spears were launched at me at fenomanal speeds .

While dodging a few i even heard them breaking the sound barrier.

"Dont cry about it Jade I remembered to pull out" I smirked and after seeing his angry expression decided to laugh.

The funniest part was the fact that the crowd was laughing at him aswell not caring about anything else but the joke.

"YOU WILL DIE FOR THAT BOY"

I ran towards him at inhuman speeds while still dodging all the attacks, once within a 5 meter range i threw the chain towards him and he did exactly what i wanted.

He gathered water and flash froze the chain which managed to break it instantly. I travelled through the ice particles which covered his water bending vision and smashed my shield into his chest caving it in completely.

I then decided to walk away from the 'dead' man and looked General Merlin directly in the eyes.

I was expecting some sort of mortified reaction from him since i just obliterated his champion but only a sadistic grin was pointed at me.

'Shit I just let my gaurd down against a blood bender'

I turned around already in a defensive position ready to block an attack and I was right.

A compressed water bubble blew up right infront of my crossed arms and sent me into the arena walls.

After getting a sense of what just happened I looked at the beast of a man I thought was dead, his chest was reforming and changing its state of matter as if he was the water itself.

After seeing my shocked expression he smiled with saliva leaking from his mouth. I instantly knew what this meant and tried to reinforce my body with as much chi as possible but it was too late, my body was lifted into the air.

"Me and you are gonna have so much fun now" The beast said. Almost right after he said that i felt the man twisting and contorting my bones with nothing but a look of malificent joy plastered along his face. Even General Merlin decided to laugh.

"I actually cant see you since im blind but i can feel your heart rate increasing, cheek muscles contracting and oh you're even tensing your stomach to distract yourself from the pain. I wonder how i should end this, ripping out your heart is to fast so how about i show the clan how weak a child is." Jade remarked

*Snap*

'Fuck that hurt what happened to that damn spirit helping me unlock my powers, if only i could bend this idiot wouldnt be the one laughing'

After snapping my left arm he decided to pin me against the wall with bending and started to laugh. He formed 3 ice spears and decided to send them all into my chest caving in my ribcage and impaling my heart and lungs.

The croud however didnt seem to care and only cheered for more gore not caring that i was young.

"No no you can't die yet Orath said you would be more than this not some weakling".

Gazing into the crowd i could see Oraths horrified face not believing what just happened and for the first time he seemed sad. I looked down at the floor and my eyes began to fade and just as i was about to take my last breathe.

Time Froze

'Im confused'
