To the Human Realm

Three years had passed since Theodore and Joshua left for the human realm. Joseph had finally turned twenty. After Theodore and Joshua left, Joseph was very lonely. No one was there to spend their free time with Joseph. Neither message came for him from the human realm either. So, instead of spending his time crying and thinking about his best friends, Joseph started to train himself harder.

Joseph missed Theodore and Joshua very much. Especially Theodore. Joseph was happy that he expressed his love for Theodore, but it was heartbreaking for Joseph to see Theodore go far from him right after the confession. He missed Theodore every day. The memories they made were always on Joseph's mind.

Instead of limping because his friends went far away, Joseph decided to complete all his missions and train harder to go to the human realm. All he wanted to do was go there and meet Theodore and Joshua. Joseph wanted to meet and spend time with them. But he was unable to go before he turned twenty. So, he worked hard for three years to become perfect and go into the human realm.

In the past three years, Joseph had changed a lot. He wasn't nervous and had evolved into a confident person. Joseph's body had become more buff. Joseph had also stopped wearing eyeliner. He had his hair grown a little longer up to his ears. Joseph had started to dress up, like how an angel was supposed to. He wore pieces of jewelry that made him stand out even more. Even though he dressed like an angel, he looked more demon-like this time.

Finally, it was the day Joseph was going to the human realm. He had been waiting for this day desperately for the past three years. He was very excited about it. But, the excitement wasn't to gain a new experience. It was for the hope of meeting Theodore and Joshua in the human realm.

Joseph was in deep thought when the king entered his chamber. "My son, today, finally you have grown up to become an angel who will now live with humans and help them," King Lucifer was proud.

Joseph was a little startled but then replied, "Yes, father. I will observe the humans and become one to blend in with them."

King Lucifer was smiling, "Also, don't forget that you have to change your name after you enter the human realm. You can't keep your original name. It is too risky. You have to be very careful there."

Joseph was shocked. He had no idea that an angel had to change its name after entering the human realm. It had already been three years since Joseph saw Theodore's face. Theodore must have changed so, finding him was already tough. And, now, if Joseph had to change his name then, how would Theodore find him? Did demons change their name as well? If they did then, Joseph was doomed. Joseph's only hope of meeting Theodore had shattered into pieces.

King Lucifer was confused by his silence Joseph so, he asked, "Joseph, are you okay? Why are you quiet?"

Joseph came out from his thoughts and said, "No, father. I'm okay. It's nothing. I'm ready to go to the human realm."

"That's good to hear. For the first six months, your brother, Nathan, will go with you to teach how the human realm works, and after that, your missions will start. Nathan will come back to our realm, and you will have to manage everything by yourself," the king explained.

"Yes, father. I will complete all of my hundred missions just like my brother and be a prince worthy of the throne," Joseph sounded enthusiastic.

"That's a good spirit to have. Don't forget that you should try your best not to fail any missions. Even if you do, don't ever fail more than seven missions. Got it? You know, if you do that then, you'll have to turn into a fallen angel. And don't even fall for any human girls. Be careful, okay?" The king reminded.

Joseph smiled. "Yes, father. I'm aware of it. I will not make any mistakes. I will be an angel just like Nathan," Joseph assured the king.

How could Joseph even fall for any other person when he was crazily and deeply in love with Theodore? Joseph found the thought of falling in love with someone else funny. King Lucifer and Joseph then walked out of the chamber to the plum tree in the angel realm having pink flowers. Looking at the pink flowers, Joseph felt deja vu and nostalgic. He remembered the day he went to see the marron plum tree with Theodore. Joseph could see Nathan already by the plum tree.

"Bye, my son. Have a safe journey to the human realm. Make me proud," the king ruffled Joseph's hair.

Joseph went near to Nathan. Nathan had then instructed Joseph to spread his wings. Both of them spread their wings. And Nathan held Joseph's hand. Nathan chanted some prayers, and they started flying downwards and finally landed in between a deep forest. Joseph was amazed to see such a deep forest that was unknown to him.

Joseph was curious," Where are we brother?"

"We are already in the human realm, and this forest is also a part of the human realm. This forest is called the forest of the gods. It is a common forest for angels and demons to go to the human realm. Also, Yuki has been protecting this forest for centuries," Nathan explained.

Joseph just nodded his head in response. He suddenly heard someone call the name 'Theo' from somewhere. He looked in the direction of the sound. His heart started racing, hoping that it was Theodore. But there wasn't a sign of a single person there besides them. Joseph was disappointed. Of course, it wouldn't have been that easy to find Theodore in the human realm.

"So, we have to change your name now. What do you want to name yourself?" Nathan said, which made Joseph come out of his thoughts.

Joseph laughed at it and said, " I am not sure what to keep it. What do you think about the name 'Jacob'?"

"Hmmm. Sounds pretty decent. I will get all of the documents ready that you need here with your new name. It will be ready within a week," Nathan replied.

"What documents? I don't understand," Joseph asked.

"We still have a long way to go, my little brother. Are you ready for a new experience?" Nathan said enthusiastically.

Joseph just nodded his head in response.
