"You can't look at me, you can't call me by my name, you can't answer my questions... Do you find me so treacherous?" Darius Simard's eyes were in-depth and affirmative.
"No no, I..." Jane Dover darted at him in panic.
"So how do I look?"
"I... That..." She got perplexed by his word game and she kept staring into his blue eyes. How affectionate his stare was!
He leaned and breathed in her neck greatly and she started panting in frustration.
"How can I come closer to you if you are so afraid of me?" His hoarse voice and genial breaths melted her body and to endure the magical warmth, she clenched her fists more sealed.
Before she could come back to her senses, he pressed her to the wall at the speed of the wind and looked straight into her soft eyes.
"You were looking at the moon and stars in the sky before I came here. You don't have the guts just to say this?" Her lips started trembling when she noticed that his lips were not far from her skin.
"How far will you keep me from yourself, Jane?" His voice was seductive and his warm breaths were falling on her skin like snow. For a while, she did not feel any movement from him, but she could still feel his embrace. After gathering courage, she found it good to open her eyes and check why he was not reacting. As soon as she opened her eyes, her gaze fell on his angular face, which was closer to her, and his blue eyes were on her face with a sparkle of pride.
"You want to talk a lot. You want to see the world, don't you?"
Jane Dover glared at him with surprise. In these sentences, she had spoken to someone but she did not remember where and when she had told those things. But she was sure that the listener was not Darius Simard because they had never had such a serious conversation.
"How did you know?"
"The fragrance coming from your body tells me every secret of yours. I did tell the truth!"
"How can you be so sure?" Jane Dover could see his magical gaze was firm every time he spoke to her. The person whom she had seen in the dungeon after marrying him was not as firm and seductive. His eyes were not blue. His gaze was not affectionate. His aura was not extraordinary and his skills were not simple. But he was the same Darius Simard who was standing in front of her with each best quality. Didn't she see him properly at that time? How could this transpire? The person she saw and felt after marrying him until he went to war was completely different from this person who was standing in front of her right now with an alluring smile. She was confused with her memories after he arrived from the battle. When he had left for the battle, she was afraid of how she would live with such a loser?
"I am sorry." Jane Dover lowered her head as if she had been mistaken for making such desires from her life but Darius Simard had something various in his mind. He knew that Jane Dover was still not comfortable with him so that she could talk and share her thoughts with him freely. That's why he wanted to break the bridge of hesitance that was built by Jane Dover between them. He held her wrist gently and looked into her eyes with a slim smile.
"Come with me."
Jane Dover did not ask him where he would bring her but she kept dragging him and it ended towards the bed.
The night was curious to know whether they would do it tonight or not but in the bedroom, their moods were on a different level. Jane Dover's head was on his strong chest and she was held in his cordial embrace tightly. Her eyes were closed and her breaths were silent like this night. Darius Simard's secretive smile was telling that something was going on in his mind even if he was staring at the ceiling but Jane Dover's mild smile was telling that she was feeling adequate in his arms.
"I have heard that this world is so beautiful."
Darius Simard turned his look and scrutinised her innocent face and Jane Dover opened her eyes but looked at him with a deep silence on her face.
"After marrying you, I heard that Winsonland is the most beautiful in the world. Everything is beautiful here. The winds here, the sky here, the flowers here, the valleys here, the people here, the weathers here… Everything…"
For the first time, he could feel while hearing her, her voice was not trembling, and she was not nervous. It was sufficient for him for today.
"That's why Winsonland has the most beautiful princess." He stared at her deeply and now she felt shy. She buried her face in his chest and bit her lips shyly. He was frank while speaking in nature. He should be careful that she was a shy woman and could not handle such words from a man, especially when it was spoken in such an alluring manner.
As soon as the sun roused, the darkness of night melted away and life woke up once again.
Jane Dover was walking in the garden and Sinja was following her. Both were talking to each other and Sinja was enjoying the princess's company. And, Jane Dover was relishing the fragrant wind and colourful flowers. She was looking astonishing in a purple gown and white jewellery.
"Sinja, what is this flower?"
Sinja looked at the white flower with black spots on it.
"Princess, never touch it." Sinja was afraid and Jane Dover looked at her eagerly.
"Why? Is it such feck?"
"Princess, this is the very suspicious flower of Winsonland."
"Suspicious Flower?"
"Yes. We call it Nimhe."
"Nimhe? What does it mean?"
"This flower is only found in Winsonland. It is said about this flower that it lives for more than a hundred years."
"Really?"
"Yes. And these are no ordinary flowers. These are rare and suspicious. These flowers react differently to each person. Touching, it spreads poison in the body and the person dies."
"Then this should be called poisonous flower. What was the mystery in that?"
"Princess, it is said that these flowers can hear and these flowers live for a hundred years waiting for a special person who can touch this flower."
Jane Dover laughed and shook her head as if she had heard a joke.
"Sinja, how can we know who is the special person without touching it?"
"Princess, I am not joking."
"I can see."
"This is not a matter to ignore."
Ladies kept quiet and turned back to look at the man who had just commented.
"Prince Vrinda." Sinja bowed her head and Jane Dover looked at him without any expressions on her face.
Vrinda Simard came closer to Jane Dover and looked at the flower seriously.
"It is said that this garden was set by our ancestors and this flower is alive for years in search of that special person to whom it would bless. In search of that person, many have lost their life."
"I am sorry."
Vrinda Simard looked at her with a slight smile as he was stunned after hearing her apology.
"You apologize quite simply."
"I have heard that Winsonland is a bit magical but I did not know it would be the truth." She said in an inferior and sweet voice.
"This is not magic for Winsonland. This is our way of life. We are habituated to such mysterious things and you have to learn to live here."
"I will try my best, Prince Vrinda."
"Call me Vrinda."
Sinja widened her eyes and looked at Vrinda Simard who was politely asking Jane Dover to call him by his name.
"Your generosity is commendable but I can't turn my back on your esteem." Her smile was memorable.
Vrinda Simard smiled sarcastically and nodded slowly. The woman was quite magnanimous. On seeing her for the first time, Vrinda Simard understood that this woman was very clean-hearted and kind. This woman was neither greedy nor cunning like a fox.
"It's your immenseness, Princess Jane."
When she just smiled and did not reply, Vrinda Simard, sighed and found a new thing to talk to her.
"The harsh sunlight will prick your body like a thorn. You shouldn't walk in the afternoon carelessly."
"I did not have anything to do so I thought it would be great to visit the beautiful garden of the castle. The garden is stunning and I am amazed at its secrets."
"I have seen that the princess is busier than the Prince."
"I don't think so."
"Yes. Princesses have the biggest job of dressing up, decorating themselves with clothes and jewellery and brightening their faces with make-up. There is a lot to do for them. But..."
His eyes turned baritone and he stared at her seriously.
"Seeing you, it seems that you do not need all these things. Nature has made you beyond beauty."
"You are embarrassing me." She lowered her eyes shyly.
"I am appreciating your beauty. It seems that no one has ever praised you." He smirked.
Jane Dover knew that Vrinda Simard had told the truth but she could not say that no one had praised her like this. But when she remembered the previous night, her lips lit up and his face began to glow. Darius Simard was a serious and astute person, but the way he praised Jane Dover last night, her body became warm.
"I will be leaving now." She looked at Vrinda Simard with a gentle gaze because she wanted to escape from this conversation as he was reminding him of Darius Simard.
Vrinda Simard looked at Sinja who was standing behind Jane Dover a few steps away in a daze.
"Take the princess to the castle."
"Huh? Yes. Sure, Prince."
Sinja bowed to Vrinda Simard and stepped towards Jane Dover and requested her, "Princess, please come with me."
Jane Dover just smiled politely at Vrinda Simard and his eyes turned dark on her back. The woman was simple and innocent like a flower. She turned his head and looked at the mysterious white flower because of which he found a way to talk to her. He smirked sarcastically and looked bitterly at the weak back of Jane Dover from far away.
