"My Lord." Darius Simard held his palms and bowed his head in front of the King who was standing in front of him and looking at Darius Simard with his dark eyes. The female maids were putting on coats for the King as the king was going to the royal court.
"Have you come with explanations?" He spoke in his hoarse voice and Darius Simard smiled negligibly.
"My Lord, I will try to clear things."
Dylan Simard smiled sarcastically and looked at Darius Simard for a while as if he was searching for something in his face.
"How many crimes did you commit after I left?"
"I know what crimes you are talking about, but the crime you see is my way of life." Darius Simard replied straightforwardly, which made the King surprised. From where did his son learn to give such sensible answers?
"I see. I heard you have brought the princess of Janseng."
Darius Simard looked at his father fearlessly.
"I married her."
The King sighed and turned back, then held the glass of wine.
"What you call marriage, it is called joy in this royal family. Every man in our family is born for joy and at some point or other they took many women to sleep with them, but that does not mean that they called it marriage."
Darius Simard looked at his strong back with his deep and cold eyes.
"It is a different matter that you have prepared a princess to sleep with you, no one in our family has done this in the past and I think it is your gameness." The king sipped wine and Darius Simard clenched his fists in strain.
"I heard that you got the women's palace vacated."
"Yes." He was firm.
"Perhaps you must have lost your mind about the old ladies. I have brought for you the beautiful women of the north." The king turned back and looked at his spoiled son.
"Locate them in the women's palace and also the princess who lives in this palace in your room." His eyes turned dark when he spoke his last words.
"Thank you, my lord. But I have vacated that palace because I am not interested in sleeping with them, so send the women you have brought back to their country." He said coldly, still, the way was polite. Ylan Simard gulped the wine and put the glass back on the tray. The maidservant went away with the tray and he looked at Darius Simard with his suspicious eyes.
"Maybe you don't know how beautiful the women of the North are!"
"They may be. But, I am married."
Dylan Simard raised his thick eyebrows with surprise. This firmness he had never seen in Darius Simard in the past.
"You are denying sleeping with women. It is a matter of investigation for me. I can't accept it." He smirked and then walked in front of him with his sharp and cold eyes.
"What about that Princess of Janseng? Are you planning to send her back?"
"I am sorry, my lord. But I have decided not to. She is my wife."
The king looked at his serious face for a long time and started laughing horribly, which did not make any difference to the expressions of Darius Simard. He was not scared of the king at all.
"Petty wife. It seems that I am not talking to that Darius who never dared to raise his head and look at me." His eyes turned cold and Darius Simard did not open his fists but smirked horribly.
"Is that so?"
"She can't live in the castle."
"She will." The answer was firm and their eyes turned darker towards each other.
"She will demolish the kingdom. She will bring a blot on the history of Winsonland."
"I will take care of it."
"Darius." The king roared like a lion and Darius Simard looked at him valiantly.
"It's not your stubbornness, it's stupidity."
"Whoever she is now, first she is my wife."
They kept looking at each other with their dark gaze but Darius Simard did not give up.
"Everyone is waiting for you in the Royal Court. You must come." Darius Simard turned back after bowing to the King to leave and King Dylan Simard clenched his fists angrily.
"Due to the position you are going to get today, this attitude of yours is right but the intention is wrong." Dylan Simard said on his back and his pace stopped suddenly. He turned back and looked at the King with his stony blue eyes.
"I respect the position you are giving me. I will not do anything wrong in performing my duty."
"You can't be, Darius." The King looked at Darius Simard searchingly.
"It is a question between your trust and my courage. I hope you can get the correct answer to this." Darius Simard bowed to King Dylan Simard and left the room quickly. His sarcastic smile was different and Dylan Simard could not understand what had happened to his son in his scarcity. He was never firm and brave.
Darius Simard reached the third floor where the royal court was going to arise. He was waiting for his lady to arrive and just then, he saw her.
Jan Dover's breathing stopped on seeing him and Sinja bowed her head in respect, then stepped back.
Darius Simrad looked at his beautiful woman from head to toe and then went near her. His blue and bright eyes matched his serious and angular face. There was always a slight smile on his thin pink lips that could melt even a stone. Seeing his tall and broad stature, the enemy also used to put down his weapons. This prince was so stunning that anyone could fall in love with him at first sight.
"How are you feeling?" He asked in his low and deep voice, as he was worried because of the previous conversation with the king.
"I do not know."
"Look in my eyes and say that you are confident."
Sinja bit her lips with a slight smile as she was enjoying the romantic conversation between them. Jane Dover looked into his sparkling eyes, she couldn't refuse him. She nodded her head slowly and there came a slight smile on her red lips.
"I am confident."
Darius Simard looked at the white palms she was holding near her navel. He gently held her palm and she bit her trembling lips not to show him her anxiety.
"Remember, whatever happens in the court, I am there."
Jane Dover tried to smile hesitantly and nodded slowly. Darius Simard raised his elbow and she held his strong arm and they headed towards the royal court. Sinja was smiling while looking at their backs.
"The younger Prince of Winsonland and the princess of Janseng."
When the door opened, Jan Dover's heart started beating rapidly inside her chest.
"Don't worry."
She turned her head and looked at Darius Simard who was smiling at her.
"You are going to smile."
Jane Dover nodded and had a beautiful smile on her lips and they entered the royal court. Courtiers were applauding them and Jane Dover felt excitement. On the left side of the throne, Vrinda Simard was sitting on his throne with his complex and dark aura and the couple bowed their heads at him. He smirked and looked at Jane Dover from head to toe. She was a real humdinger. On the right side of the throne, they took their place and the courtiers sat down. The courtiers were stunned by the beauty of the princess and some had forgotten that they were waiting for the king there. While Vrinda Simard was staring oftentimes at Jane Dover as he could not control her heart. Her beauty was distracting him completely even if he had tried a lot to escape from this bond.
There an announcement occurred and the curtains slid away, the king entered the royal court and everybody stood up, held their palms and bowed to him. The royal court had become noisy with the echoes of cheers, and amid that noise, the king's eyes fell on the beautiful princess who was standing with her head bowed like everyone else. Before sitting on his throne, the king stuck for a while and stared at the magnificence of that princess from head to toe. He had seen all kinds of women from north to south and east to west, slept with them, but till date had not seen such a pure woman. The radiance of her face could burn Winsonland and her beauty could muddy anyone's heart. The king had come to this gathering thinking that when he would title Darius Simard, he would announce her as a royal concubine in the gathering, but seeing her beauty and the brilliance of her face, the king suffocated his decision. He sat on the throne and raised his palm to ask everyone to sit down.
After sitting in her place, Jane Dover is lost in her thoughts while listening to the king. It was the first experience for her and it all happened because of Darius Simard. She turned her head and looked at the graceful face with a satisfying smile on her lips. And here, Vrinda Simard's heart fumed when he noticed the glimmer on her face when she was looking at Darius Simard.
