33. Zigzag

Seeing the plight of her back covered with blood and beating wounds, blood came to his eyes. He clenched his fists and she turned towards him quickly while covering her chest.

"What are you doing?" She was still unclear and stepped back then leaned to the wall.

"I saw it already." He spoke seriously and she stared at him surprisingly. So, he saw her bruises. He did not have bad intentions. This fear subsided but a new one came across. What she would answer? She swallowed saliva and lowered her gaze.

"You should go out. I have to change." 

He glared at her as if he did not hear her. She raised her eyes when she did not see his legs' moves. 

"I won't ask you about it. I will directly punish them who did this."

Jane Dover trembled after hearing him. His firmness was deadly.
