129. Jane's decision

When the queen of Vontash was informed about the departure of the royal messenger, she went to Jane Dover's chambers to talk to her.

Jane Dover had taken bath and got out of the bathroom. Seeing the queen of Vontash in her suit, she got surprised. She came to her and bowed.

"Your Majesty."

"I was in awe of your beauty the first time I saw you. Then I came to know that your beauty is dangerous for men. Men are not even afraid to revolt against everyone by drowning in their intoxication. First, Darius and now Prince Cato..."

Jane Dover lowered her head.

"Darius forgot everything and brought you here after marrying you and now Prince Cato is thinking of doing the same."

The queen sighed deeply, "I got to hear that the day he met you for the first time, he came to his father's room to talk about marriage. I was there, too."

Jane Dover looked at her with her dry gaze, "We have met twice."
