Synopsis
In the world of Talia, nobody is completely animal, or completely human. Legend has it that the Shapeshifters once lead a peaceful life between all clans; but as far back as the current generation can remember, the plant eaters have been fearful and hunted by the predator clans - even if the predators failed to admit it openly.
Secluded and secretive, the Deer clan sends out their best Shadow - a shifter who can stay silent - to help seek out resources. But fate has a different plan, bringing together another stuff of Legends: A True Pair, not just across species, but across enemies.

I am so thrilled this story exists. I very much enjoyed Bai Qingqing/Beauty and the Beasts, but I hadn't really found a similar story of the same caliber until this one. It's still an animal shifter romance, a well developed world, excellent writing, but not dark, broody, abusive, twisted types that werewolf stories often are. I adore it. I would be pleased as punch for a whole sub genre of this skill level, in this tone/feel, written by this author. Can I get physical copies for my shelf? I adore this author's work
Read it, this novel is a gem - somewhere between beauty and the beasts and werewolf stories, this one really sticks out. It’s so interesting that we get a MC who is an animal herself and the romance needs to break down walls between species! Although MC is a deer, she is not shy, she has skills and a personality. I can‘t wait to read more about her and how she copes in the wolf tribe. The worldbuilding is great, too. Since society is a little more advanced, we get to focus on life besides farming which feels very refreshing. Everything is well fleshed out, making you really curious about this world and all the characters. There is an old feud between the herbivore and predator clans and I‘m dying to find out how it will influence their future. The love seems so wholesome and the beastmen in general are more respectful of women, which was my main annoyance with beauty and the beasts and I‘m so glad it‘s different - better - here! Thank you, author, for such a fantastic story. Keep up your good work. I hope every beastworld fan finds their way to this novel 👏
This Is a very good story to read. It is different than all the others i have read. I can not wait to see what the future brings to the two main characters.
