Chapter One Hundred Eight

Hans was checking patient data when Warren came to see him with a cup of coffee. He glanced at him and then focused back on the patient data in front of him. Warren, who was smiling earlier, now frowned because he ignored him.

"You didn't say good morning to me," said Warren.

The man's words made the three nurses who were standing guard at the information desk chuckle. Hans glanced at the nurses, stopping his laughter. He took a deep breath and turned to Warren.

"You didn't say good morning either," he said.

Warren smiled and put his mouth close to his ear and whispered, "Good morning, doctor Reyes."

Hans' body tensed slightly at Waren's voice. However, he tried not to show any reaction. "Good morning. Thanks for the coffee."

The man straightened his body. "You're welcome. Okay, we'll meet in the cafeteria at lunch."
