Chapter Two Hundred Forty Two

Jacob found Theo on the rooftop of the school building. He was standing near the railing and staring at the field where several students from first grade were doing sports activities. He doesn't know how long he has been sitting on the rooftop. Jacob walked over to him and handed him the lunch box he was carrying. Theo glanced at the box briefly before looking at him.

"You don't have to, Jacob."

Jacob shook his head. Then he grabbed Theo's wrist and told him to sit on one of the unused chairs. He pulled out another chair and sat opposite Theo. He gestured for him to open the lunch box.

Theo obeyed Jacob. He opened the lunch box and saw that there were some sandwiches and a box of juice.

"Egg, ham, and cheese sandwich."

Theo smiled faintly. He took one piece and then handed the lunch box to Jacob, telling him to also eat.

"Is it good?" Jacob asked when Theo tried the sandwich.
