Sohei paced a few steps toward the hideous wolf and tried to shield Yuki, "Yuki, on the count of three, you need to run," Sohei whispered in her ear. Yuki gazed at Sohei affectionately and held his hand tightly. Yuki wasn't surprised by the big werewolf. Her only concern was Sohei. She knew that Sohei wasn't strong enough to protect her.

Sohei started to count but Yuki didn't run. Sohei was astonished by the act. Yuki wanted to protect Sohei.

Yuki wasn't like other werewolves who turned on the night of the full moon. She was the last descendant of a Japanese honshu grey werewolf, a hybrid who could transform into a werewolf whenever she desired.

There was a soft smile on her face as her crimson brownish eyes filled with the will to fight back. She knew she had to protect Sohei, even if this would be her final resting place.

Yuki slowly turned into a wolf. Her grey wolf ear started to appear and the triangle nose was coming out. In a fraction of second, she turned into a werewolf.

Sohei grabbed her wrist swiftly and looked at her agonisingly , "No, you are supposed to run.Dammit" As he condemned her actions and persisted not to go far, he didn't want Yuki to fight against the monster.

Her greyish furry hands gently stroked Sohei cheeks and wiped his sweat. She mumbled softly, "It's okay Sohei. No need to worry when your gir-girlfriend is strong."

The beast had been standing aside watching this epic romantic drama which he was unpleasant about. He had been frowning and thumped his leg loudly on the ground, as he was declaring his presence.

" LEAVE!" Yuki pushed his back and didn't look back at Sohei.

The fiend who was bored for thousands years now finally had a chance to duel with a little wolf.

He giggled and paced toward to yuki.

Yuki's transformation was completed as she loudly howled to fiend.

Yuki's grey triangle ears were visible, her round nose and sharp incisor teeth were ready to bite the beast.

Her brownish long hair was on her shoulders. In the moonlight, her crimson eyes were sparkling and her elongated tail was jiggling. She approached the beast on its bipedal legs.

Yuki raised her face upward and started to howl loudly.

She showed his white incisor teeth as a sign and she challenged him to a duel.
