'Who did you leave guarding the pack house?' Dante's voice boomed through the mind-link as Kano's paws carried him through the woods. He moved like a hurricane, ready to destroy anything and everything in his path.


'Some human guards and a few wolves,' Nathan answered. 'They were going to run after we got back. My plan was to lead them.'


'There are other people at the pack house,' Ruby and Jade said. Their wolves were running alongside Kano, impressively keeping up.
