Chapter 36

BOOK THREE: BUNNY MISFIT

I seemed so normal when I was born.

Ten fingers and toes? Check.

Perfect skin, not a blemish to be seen.

As I grew, I was the apple of my parents' eyes. Not the smartest kid in class, or the most agile - I had two left feet and tripped over them often - but I definitely earned the trophy for the cutest girl in school. Apparently, my smile could make anyone's day brighter.

I had friends. Tons of them. Being popular came naturally to me, as did laughter.

Posters of the latest boy bands plastered my walls. My closet bulged with the trendiest clothes.

As a pack princess, I had it all. And by pack, I mean werewolf. My daddy was the alpha, the leader of us all, which made him the biggest and meanest of all the wolves around. Except with me. Daddy loved his little girl.
