SMILE

"It shouldn't," Smile grunted. "There's a killer on the loose. We can't spend all our time talking."

"You're right," Ratzinger smiled. "I've always been jealous of you, Smile. You took her away from me so easily, but the truth that I refused to tell myself all this while is that you actually deserved her and I didn't."

"Don't say so," Smile frowned. "I might not be any better than anyone of you here. I was just the lucky one. We are all humans and we make mistakes. It doesn't make us less of humans that we are."

"I guess so," Ratzinger smiled and hugged Smile again. It was weird for the rest of them watching seeing the two sworn enemies hug and after some time, Smile disengaged from the hug and frowned.

"Reconsidering forgiving me?" Ratzinger stared at him and laughed. Smile grunted.

"Not at all," Smile said. "But while you were working your ass out to make sure we were hooked, I might have come up with a few questions for you."
