Disappointment

"I am sorry about that. I will get something for you," I said.

Calling out to my kid sister, "Chlooooe!"

"No Megan, do not bother, I am fine," he tried stopping me.

As he said so, Chloe had already made her way to the door knocking.

"Sister Arrey, you called for me," she said from the outside.

I had this victory look over Nicholas, the I gave pathetic words for him,

"Sorry, she is already here," I mumbled.

"Yes Chloe, you can enter. By the way, can you serve a plate of food for Mr. Larry? Thank you. Please bring only a glass thank you," I added.

I winked at her and she smiled, before she could leave the room, Nicholas's firm voice caught her aback.

"Chloe, please two spoons will be fine," he said.

She nodded and then firmly closed the door behind her.

"I told you I wasn't hungry," he blurted out firmly.

"You didn't say you weren't hungry, you just said you wouldn't eat," I rephrased his sentence.
