When the five of us agreed to work together to defeat the Lion called Nemea.

'Nemea?...did I hear that somewhere? Ah! I remember it's true that the Lion Namae is a beast that the great hero Heracles defeated to meet the challenge given by Zeus!' I thought when I just realized that the lion was previously mythical in Greek mythology.

"Yuuya-san!" Someone shouted calling out to me, I woke up and looked up to see a sairarog flying with his demon wings.

"Yes?" I replied.

"When I watched you earlier, I was amazed that you hitting Nemae is just pure martial art...I thought it would be impossible for a very young human to hit Namae like that...and I'm curious about your strength, so how about we spar for a bit after this?" Sairarog continued, I then thought for a moment and nodded in agreement.

"Okay, just take this as my thank you for helping me to stop this lion together," I said.

Then Sairarog gave a happy expression and with a smirk, he looked ahead as if to make this quick.

They rushed ahead to flying and left us behind, although I envy their flying abilities.

After this, I have to see if wind magic is suitable to let me fly without any additional assistance.

During the week of training with Lavinia, I got something surprising from the Sage's Mana circuit.

When I practice controlling Mana/Energy, I can use all kinds of magic.

Everyone, Void is no exception...it scares me a bit with this magic circuit...it's too OP.

I could have made world-destroying scale magic if I didn't realize how dangerous this was.

"AHHHHHH!" Sairarog shouted as he gathered a strange energy signature in his hands.

The lion screamed as well while jumping to pounce on the demon man.

Sairarog with his fist glowing white, punched the lion's forehead until I heard a cracking sound.

*BOOM!*

An explosion occurred, and the lion was blown away crashing into a large rock and smashing it.

I was astonished by the power, I didn't know that such power existed in this world.

It's not magic, I feel like this energy signature is similar to life...did he use his life energy instead of the immense power he released?

Isn't that risky!?

I couldn't just watch and helped Sairarog when the lion wanted to stand I was on top of him and kicked him on the head.

Ax, true to its name, is a jumping ax kick combined with a front flip which creates a large airwave that lifts the opponent/opponent to the ground when their feet touch the ground and leaves them open for a follow-up attack.

Nemea looked in a lot of pain as he screamed mutely, I think the kick was strong enough to make the ground around the lion collapse.

Sairarog saw this whistling, seeing something interesting…and Seig stiffened watching me manage to knock the Lion known as Lion Namae unconscious with just one kick.

'This is a bit disappointing' I thought as I landed smoothly in front of Nemea's unconscious head.

Soon Sairarog came over to me along with the others.

"Wow, just as I thought…Yuuya-san you're amazing!" Said Sairarog, he looked at me in awe.

"Looks like you're not letting us perform!?" Seig said as he spoke in a disgruntled tone.

I just smiled wryly, even though it seemed so easy but I felt a pain in my leg.

'This is unexpected' I thought while feeling the pain in my leg…as in the beginning, the body of this lion is very hard.

I like kicking a very thick iron, even so, I still managed to penetrate the thick skin.

"Okay, so what are we going to do with this lion?" I asked as I faced the two of them.

"Err...Yuuya-san did you know? that this lion is a Sacred Gear that loses control when the host dies?" Said Sairarog confusedly looking at me.

He thought if I knew it, well I'm not sure either because it's not like I always pay close attention to the energy signatures around me.

I just assumed that this lion was not a living being but a spirit.

"I'm just not sure...I feel that this lion is a spirit, not a real living being" I replied.

They understood, and suddenly the lion opened his eyes.

"Urg...who-" A voice sounded in my head, the lion

got up slowly and saw the five of us still dizzy.

"Who has beaten me earlier?" said a voice earlier.

"Err... are you talking in my head?" I asked confusedly to the Nemea lion who just woke up.

"Hn...it's me, once again who defeated me earlier?" He said, he seemed to have his consciousness but before this, the lion was in a rage and unconscious before I and Sairarog defeated him easily.

I'm not going to say that I alone beat him and I'm saying that we both beat this lion.

"That's me and he," I said while pointing both hands towards Sairarog and myself.

Sairarog doesn't seem satisfied that the two of us beat him.

"Yuuya-san, you're the one who inflicted the most damage on him and you deserve to be the owner now," Sairarog said.

I shook my head "No, even if you only helped a little it's still you, and I beat him" I said.

"I see... I'm not sure earlier I was in a state of rage and my consciousness sank into anger... my previous master was killed by a group of people who wanted to use my powers... I see you all are not like them and thank you for quelling my tantrum earlier" The lion said kindly as he lowered his head.

"And, I have a good solution for both of you who have succeeded in defeating me...you both get my recognition as the lion king Nemea...but only one person can have me-"I cut off this lion's talk.

"Wait...why do you think that I need your power? no, I don't need it!"I said making everyone widen their eyes in surprise.

"What? You don't want my power? It's very rare" he said with an interesting look.

"I don't need it you can just choose Sairarog as your new host," I said, I thought it would be too greedy...I already have a lot of cheat items.

And I'd rather just leave it to Sairarog than me with lots of formidable weapons that exceed common sense.

"No...Yuuya-san I still won't accept it this way" Sairarog refused.

"That's right!... Longinus class Sacred Gears like Nemea, cannot be possessed by demons! Sacred Gears were created for humans against the supernatural! Our God made them specifically for humans only!" Seig snapped, disagreeing that Nemea was in the hands of demons.

Looks like this is going to be a complicated matter.
