The Primordial Mirror

The grand elder nodded and said, "Please speak, Leo, I'm listening with respectful attention... But I'm not sure what you want to borrow. Will it be another case of borrowing without returning?"

Leo felt a bit embarrassed at the grand elder's words. It was true that he had borrowed treasures from the Azure Dragon Clan before and never returned them.

"Cough... This time is different. I have a legitimate reason," Leo rubbed his nose and said. "Every time you borrow something, you claim to have a legitimate reason," the grand elder replied calmly.

"What new excuse do you have this time?"

Leo knew he couldn't beat around the bush with this cunning elder, so he went straight to the point. "I want to borrow The Primordial Mirror."

"No," the grand elder replied straightforwardly.

"Why?" Leo frowned. "It's just a broken mirror."
