The banquet began

Count Greenwill, accompanied by a group of the Heaven Kings officials, had arrived early at the city gate.

Curious players around them were trying to find out what was happening but were separated by the guards...

"What's going on? Isn't there a banquet at the City Lord's Mansion tonight? Why is the City Lord coming out again?" a player wondered.

Another player shook his head, disdainfully saying, "Who cares? They're all just a bunch of NPCs anyway, definitely following a programmed script. But these NPCs are quite annoying, they've actually blocked the city gate. Damn it, once I level up, I'll definitely slaughter the Heaven Kings!"

The players didn't bother to lower their voices, and Count Greenwill heard everything. In his heart, he was very contemptuous of them.

In Count Greenwill's view, the vast majority of players were simply fools controlled by power and benefits. He only needed to offer them some incentives to make them work for him.
