Trading Wounds for Life!

The saying goes, "An inch longer, an inch stronger; an inch shorter, an inch dangerous."

Leo didn't expect Dick to be so powerful from the start.

Choosing a longsword left him with much less reach than Dick, which put Leo in a constantly defensive state, not even having the chance to counterattack.

This won't do, Leo thought as he once again dodged an attack and quickly strategized.

He needed to attack as a form of defense.

As the spear came towards him again, Leo chose not to dodge but rather faced it head-on.

Dick, watching Leo's movements, scoffed internally, seeing through Leo's plan.

Sure enough, Leo's sword clashed with the spear and, taking advantage of the opening, Leo darted towards Dick.

His sword scraped against the spear, sending sparks flying.

The sword was about to strike Dick's head.
