Bayside Academy, Austin...
Crestfallen, Kiaraa could only complain inwardly as she walked emotionlessly towards the principal's office. She knew her offense, she had beaten up three girls out of outrage and she knew her actions were unjustifiable. But still, when had Kiaraa ever shown her weakness?
She could admit her faults to herself but not in front of others. There was a time when she would just stay out of everything in this school hoping that her days here will be over soon so there was no need to make a fuss about little issues but she was dead wrong. Keeping silent all the time, the girls are now seeing her as a doormat and that's something that someone as strong as Kiaraa couldn't handle lightly.
She knocked on the door gently when she got to the office and stood there quietly until she heard the principal's voice telling her to come in.
Stepping in, she saw the principal staring at her with a grim expression and she scoffed inwardly, she couldn't care less about any of these situations. She would just get this over with and get back to her class.
"Good day Mrs. Haven." She greeted and bowed lightly like a typical Asian.
The principal nodded, "Miss Lee, have a seat." She pointed to a chair and Kiaraa walked towards it and sat down.
She crossed her leg over the other and had her hands crossed over her chest. She stared at the principal sternly, gone was that sweet and polite mannerism and the principal was a little bit taken aback, wondering how they shifted positions so quickly.
Wasn't she the one who was supposed to intimidate the student? Then somebody explain to her why this young lady just snatched her role from her.
The principal cleared her throat lightly and began, "Miss Lee, I'm sure you already know the reason why I called you here."
Kiaraa smirked and raised a brow, "Dare to question my actions?" she asked and the principal stared at her with widened eyes. Where was this student getting all these nerves from?
"Miss Lee...."
"Mrs. Haven, I'm sure you want to tell me that the parents of those students are highly prestigious but don't forget the biggest investor of this school. There is a family whose investments alone could give them the ownership of this school.
"And lastly don't forget to give your students a brief warning about stepping on others' toes. And forget about their families, I'll handle them myself. You want to give me punishment? then fine, out of gentility, I'll agree for a detention class after school today."
With that said, Kiaraa stood up and walked out of the office.
To say that the principal was infuriated at Kiaraa's audacious behavior, would be an understatement. She was fuming both inwardly and outwardly and just when she was about to call after Kiaraa, Kiaraa's words sank in her head.
'Don't forget the biggest investor in this school. There is a family whose investments alone could give them the ownership of this school.'
Two families supported the school, one was the owner and the other was just an investor whose child she assumed was going to this school.
Somehow, she didn't know their names but she wouldn't be a fool to mess with them. Their power alone could wipe her existence out of this world.
Pondering on it further, how would Kiaraa come about with such information that only she herself knew?
Unless she's...
✧✧✧✧✧✧
Kiaraa stepped away from the office dejectedly. Her aloof and dominating aura had long flown out the window. Come to think of it, her only explanation was that she couldn't control her anger.
There was a time when she would just overlook everything they did to her. All their malicious words fell on deaf ears, she thought she could keep her anger at bay until she graduated but she was wrong this time. Things got out of her control and all this was just because she was scared.
There were people out for her life, although she had the power and connections, still, she didn't know the strength of her opponent and that was her biggest weakness.
Stepping lightly on her high-branded sneakers, her temperament was cool with her hair swaying lightly with each step she took. Her eyelid was lowered covering the calm look on her fiery amber eyes and her long, black lashes rested on her face peacefully, in perfect contrast to her milky white skin.
Clutching the hem of her skirt lightly, she walked down the hallway with slow strides and she could hear the malicious jeers from her peers but she just ignored them like they were flies that she couldn't care less about.
".... Look at her, looking like a fallen queen... Did she think that she could get away with what she did?"
".... She acted like some psycho from the street, how do such people get admitted to Bayside Academy?....."
"... I'm sure she couldn't even afford the admission fees. I heard she pulled off some strings in order to get here."
"Do you think that? She's always wearing branded clothes, I bet she's the mistress of a rich old man. Tsk tsk, selling her body for money... could she be any more shameless? What a slut..... "
Hearing all the brutal comments, Kiaraa felt aggrieved. She had the power to end each of their lives but yet she couldn't do anything. She came here intending to keep a low profile and acting on anger will only bring unwanted attention to herself.
Just then, the doors were opened and a perfect figure walked in. A girl of about 160cm stepped into the hallway and scanned the room with a scrutinizing gaze.
Her deep emerald eyes gave no expression and the whole room turned towards her direction.
She was simply dressed in Bayside Academy's grand uniform, her mid-length was held up in a ponytail which dangled with each step she took.
The hall immediately erupted into whispers,
"..... Oh my God, Why is she here?"
