Taking a sip from his coffee, he checked his watch for the hundredth time since he arrived and he groaned inwardly.
It's only been twenty minutes but why does he feel like he's been here for the whole day? Even the matters regarding his work were never this exhausting but somehow, just twenty minutes with a girl and yet he already feels like digging his own grave.
He finally paused and raised his head when he noticed that the girl had stopped talking all of a sudden.
He looked up and followed her gaze and then he saw two girls walking toward them and one of them just happened to be his mischievous sister. He had never anticipated that one day he would be happy that his sister was born to be a fox but events like this made it so.
All heads turned as they watched Kiaraa and Yuna taking a seat at his table and whispers immediately erupted with their eyes still glued on them ready for an exclusive drama.
"Hey, who are you, and why are you sitting here? Can't you see we're having a date here? Don't you have any manners?" The girl's voice immediately rang and Kiaraa just shrugged nonchalantly and took a sip out of her strawberry flavored smoothie. Like she was going to waste her time explaining herself, hell no!
"Oh, there's a sitting arrangement here too, just like in the classroom, never knew that." Instead, Yuna replied and stared at her nails.
The girl had anger blazing in her eyes as she snapped, "Who the hell are you girls, and what the hell do you want?" She questioned but neither of them showed any interest in answering her.
Seeing their nonchalant attitude towards her she immediately turned to Min and with a smooth and saccharine tone, she spoke. "Mr. Lee please do something. " She pleaded acting helpless like the whole world just crash-landed on her head.
Kiaraa's gaze finally snapped towards her, "Oh peel off that mask Halloween isn't until October."
The girl's face went red with embarrassment and she clenched her fists with anger. "Are you nuts?" She finally found her voice and glared at Kiaraa.
"Min she's noisy," Kiaraa spoke softly to her brother and held her ears, Min being the doting brother that he always was massaged her temples softly before he shot a glare towards the girl.
"Mr. Lee?..." The girl was obviously stunned as she stared at the scene in front of her. Do they know each other?
"Mr. Lee, I don't believe t..."
"Miss Han I think..." Min cut her off but just as he was about to voice out his statement, his phone immediately rang and a sinister smile played on Kiaraa's lips.
'Nice timing Somi.' She commended inwardly as she watched her brother pick up the call and a deep frown gradually settled on his face.
The call finally ended and he looked at Kiaraa. "I'm sorry, I'll have to leave something came up. Take care of yourself ok?" he stated all this while not even sparing a single glance at the girl in front of him and Kiaraa nodded obediently. He paid the bill before rushing out.
Kiaraa watched his retreating figure and a small smile of accomplishment spread towards her lips but an annoying voice immediately broke her chain of thought.
"Who are you?" The girl asked and Kiaraa turned towards her.
"Not someone you should fret about but keep this in mind, Leave. Him. Alone." She stressed each word to emphasize her point and make her statement clear.
The girl laughed, the smooth sound of her laughter drew everyone's gaze toward her. "Oh, I know what's going on. You're just a high school student who found a rich young bachelor to leach on. How much do you want you gold digger?"
Kiaraa's eyes blazed with anger and before she could fire back Yuna beat her to it.
"Hey, watch your tongue. What do we look like? beggars?" Yuna glared at the girl and Kiaraa stared at her friend with amazement. It was so nice to finally see the little redhead show some strength.
The girl laughed again and this time a mocking smile settled on her heavily painted lips."I suppose you're just a nobody so leave him alone and find someone from your class." She said mockingly and crossed her hands over her chest as she leaned back but what came after that shook her beyond wits.
Kiaraa picked up her smoothie and poured the contents on her head and with a jeering smile she said, "You won't be this haughty the next time we meet. But keep this in mind Han Mulin, not everyone is as ferocious as you."
And with that said, Kiaraa finally stood up and flipped her voluminous long hair before walking away. Yuna shot Han Mulin one last glare before trailing behind Kiaraa.
Han Mulin was dumbfounded as her whole head had turned into a rollercoaster. The whole bizarre scene played in her head and her eyes twitched with anger. The smoothie rolled down her face towards her supple skin and she felt she couldn't move as if she was nailed to the chair.
Her eyes were bloodshot red and just then a loud crash was heard as she emptied the whole content of the table on the floor. The onlookers stared at her with skepticism. Was she going crazy? Who vents out their anger like that in public?
The girl in question was deeply enraged as she clenched her fists tightly before finally coming to a conclusion. She picked up her phone and placed a call.
"Check the camera we installed and get me the information about the girl who just ruined my date." She ordered through gritted teeth and there was total silence on the other end. Wondering what was taking him too long to reply, she was about to say something when she heard his voice.
"Miss there's something wrong with the server."
"What is it?"
"It's been hacked.."
"WHAT???"
