DIRTY-MINDED INDIVIDUAL

His voice was smooth, gentle, and reassuring. That was by far the longest amount of words he has uttered in a single breath.

As his deep voice hit her ears, she felt like a blanket of calmness was wrapped around her. She snuggled her head closer to his chest to find a comfortable spot. He gazed at her intently, her little action felt too cute in his eyes and a large amount of warmth was radiating from his silver eyes.

He gently stroked her hair and soon she fell asleep on his turgid chest seeking comfort from his warmth.

And so on a hot sunny weather, two people felt like they were in spring.

It was late in the afternoon, the dazzling summer sun was a light shade of yellow as it illuminated the whole sky and not a single speck of cloud could be spotted even from miles afar. The whole heaven was painted in a brilliant shade of blue as the harsh rays of the sunlight found their way towards the earth.

The birthday party of the Anderson twins was held in their father's new hotel, Hotel la Flores. It was a Spanish-themed hotel with ornate decorations. The whole place was painted in different shades of color as pretty flowers bloomed giving the place a lavish yet peaceful atmosphere.

In one of the many hall rooms in Hotel la Flores, the birthday party of Claire Anderson and Jason Anderson was an exuberant one.

Claire's dirty blonde hair was curled and her wavy locks fell on her slightly opened chest which revealed part of her cleavage from her v-line silver, sequined figure-hugging dress that barely reached her mid-thighs. Its brilliant sparkle gave a slight luster with each move she made.

Her silver six-inch heel was glittering from the sharp sunlight that pierced through the large hall windows and her blue eyes held a glimmer of pride in them as she stared at the large piles of birthday presents which almost formed a mountain.

The whole place was blaring with loud music and the smell of alcohol coupled with expensive wines and drinks filled the air.

They were at least a hundred guests present. Some of them were her friends and the others were the friends of her brother. Some were conversing with each other, some were offering her presents while the dance floor was also filled.

Claire took a glimpse of her twin brother standing beside her and his shaved brows raised. His dirty blonde hair was falling over his forehead and his blue eyes which were similar to hers held a bored expression in them.

Seeing her brother's impassive attitude, she pouted her heavily painted lips to clearly express her annoyance.

"Jason, don't give me that look, ok? I know that you would rather be in the hotel room with one of those hot chicks but I have to hold this party as a way to get closer to someone."

She batted her false lashes seductively which made Jason sneer loudly before striding off with both hands in his pants pocket and his flirtatious eyes scanning the room for a new prey.

Claire shrugged at his nonchalance and traveled her gaze around the room as if looking for someone and with swaying hips, she walked towards a table far end at the corner.

"Shen darling, are you sure your plan is going to work? I mean it's over two hours now and they are still not here."

Mia queried with her eyes throwing questions at Li Shen who continuously stared at his wristwatch before averting his gaze towards the large double doors and then back to his wristwatch.

His brows knitted in a deep frown and deep lines formed at his forehead. Just like Mia stated, he was also confused. He had been waiting patiently but for over two hours he hasn't seen a sign of Adrian and Kiaraa making an appearance. He was beginning to doubt the intelligence of his brother.

'Did big brother not get my hint? No! He's smart, he would have noticed my plan but...then again, judging by the way his IQ has been dropping all because of sister-in-law, I really can't say,' he pondered deeply and shook his head.

"Maybe something came up, I'm sure they'll be here soon, so relax," Yuna spoke softly and took a small sip out of her mango juice. Her red hair was tied up in a high ponytail and her face was as calm as ever. So far, she had been the only one amongst the trio who seemed to be enjoying the lavish party thrown by the Anderson twins.

Unlike the other two, she didn't seem agitated as she had no idea what the issue was about and she had no intention to pry.

Li Shen nodded in agreement, "Maybe they're busy."

Mia's eyes shone with mischievousness. "What could they possibly be doing for two hours straight. Shen Darling, I never knew that my brother-in-law was so impatient, he just met her then why take the bull by the horn? Jeez, he's so dirty-minded."

Both Yuna and Li Shen gaped at her. Judging from her statement, it was so obvious who the dirty-minded individual was but they didn't say a word.

Mia ignored their gazes and played with her black shoulder-length hair. Her off-shoulder white dress was decorated with floral prints with a dashing design of sparkling green leaves which were outlined on her shoulder and matched with her bottle-green eyes. The jade set of jewelry she wore only added more to her beauty.

The dress code for the party was white or silver. Claire had chosen the color because ever since she looked at Adrian's cold silver eyes, it had become her favorite color.

Li Shen was dressed in a white shirt with a light green tie, which complimented Mia's outfit unknowingly to them while Yuna was dressed in a silver square neck gown with a diamond design.

Everyone was also dressed in a similar color. Li Shen, who had known the dress code of the party had forced Adrian to put on a white suit for his meetings and Kiaraa who had no idea about it just wanted to wear something matching him and ended up dressing in white as well.
