"Why are you doing this?..." her usual domineering tone turned extraordinarily soft in a heartbeat as her rosy red lips quivered softly. Her breathing hitched as she felt a cold hand on her nape pulling her head closer. She looked up and a pair of sterling silver eyes caught her gaze. 

His silver locks fell on his forehead covering it entirely as he looked down at her to acknowledge her question.

A deep knot formed between Kiaraa's brows as the name slipped out of her mouth in daze. The voices in her head felt so vivid and clear like it was hers. She was so lost in thoughts that she didn't notice when the smile on Adrian's face suddenly froze.

He had expected it to happen since she was constantly calling his name while she was unconscious but hearing her call his name with clear eyes had thrown him into a different state of confusion.

"Yes?" He replied monotously as he resumed his usual blank stare.
