A days has past Ruby went to the library to rent some books of supernatural creatures like werewolves vampires and witches.

Ruby went back to her apartment building she struggle carrying the books to her apartment door. Ruby drop two books when she try to grab them but a light skin handsome man picked them up and handed it to Ruby, "oh thank you", Ruby let the mystery man stack the two books on top on the other's, "no problem do you need any help ?", he ask.

Ruby was hesitant to except his help since what with the drunk man in the woods. "I'm not a killer or nothing I was just checking out the apartment couple doors down", the man said with a soft smile. "Yeah can you hold these ?", Ruby hand the mystery her books, Ruby than unlock her apartment door, "thanks", "info of werewolves I see you have good taste in books", "oh it's just my friend like to read things like this I thought I could understand this supernatural stuff", Ruby shrug.

"Do you read stuff like this ?", Ruby finally got her door open letting the man place the book on the table. "No not really half those things in that book might be faults", "oh that make since or maybe you don't believe in the supernatural". "I'm a open minded person anything is possible these creatures that you reading could based on different events that happened. Like the red riding hood a story about a child being hunted by a wolf", Ruby nod her head for understanding. "Or maybe it just stories that people make up to entertain generations anyway my name is Jasper", the mystery man reach out his hand. Ruby grab Jasper's hand then saw a tattoo mark of a sword and two S shapes intertwined around the sword.

Jasper pull away from the hand shake, "so you are trying move here ?", "I'm thinking about it yes I came here see how the building look", "well if you do move here you will like the apartments is nice, the building is peaceful and quietly", "thanks for letting me know Miss ?", "Ruby…Ruby Parker", "is a pleasure to meet you Ms. Parker I hope we get to meet again", Jasper smirk then left out the apartment before closing the door.

Jasper smirk disappear before stepping outside, Jasper pull out a cigarette then light it up.

Jasper begin walking then Kofi join, "what did she say ?", Kofi ask, "she knows something I think so", Jasper blow smoke out his nose, "you think so think isn't good enough that was them on that picture they are still alive I can feel it", Kofi said. "I would call you here if they weren't but let just Omar created more we going have to be careful and smart", Jasper stated.

"You've gotten smart over the years", "I have to be since that deal we made", "yeah I remember the deal trust me the moment we finish these hybrids freaks you'll get what you ask for". Kofi pat Jasper's back before walk head of Jasper when slow down to what Kofi said.

Back inside Ruby at on her couch reading a book about witch then her black cat Shadow jump on the couch then trying to lay on Ruby's lap.

Ruby made space for her cat then went back to reading, "you know witches on have black cats but I think it just tv shit", Ruby spoke to her cat while scratching his head. "I wonder what kind abilities and spells, what kind of witches or what kind of witch I am", Ruby felt sadness going across her face. Ruby close the book and begin to herself, "the only way to truly find out who I need the hybrids help", Ruby lay the book on the table.

"Shadow I need to figure this out ?", Ruby rub her temple then she look over to see the piece of paper with Amira's phone number in it.

Ruby look down at Shadow who look back at her making eye contact, "maybe she can help me", Ruby got put on her shoes grab her car keys then rush out the door.

Across town

Amira stood in the kitchen dancing in front of the stove playing salt n pepa let's talking about sex whiles cooking pancakes, eggs, and bacon.

Omar enter the kitchen seeing Amira dancing she quickly stop when she turn to see Omar. "Good morning", Amira clear her throat out of embarrassment, "morning I see that you are cooking", "yeah I thought I might just cook us some breakfast because we haven't ate together in a long time". Amira made Omar his plate then hand it to him, "thank you", Omar lay his plate in front of himself.

Michael finally enter the kitchen, "Mike come join us", Omar suggested, "oh no Amira is cooking she might put poison in my food", Michael tease. "How did you know", Amira place the plate in front of her annoying brother, "thanks", Michael grab his fork.

The doorbell ring Amira left to see who was at the first door. Amira look through the peep hole seeing the young redhead, Amira quickly open the door seeing Ruby standing on the other side.

"Hey Amira sorry to bother you this early", "no it's fine…I just made breakfast would you like to join us", "um…I don't know I can come back later", "no no no come in you came for a reason", Amira calmly grab the redhead hand and pull her inside.

"Did you thought about your next move ?", "yeah right now I'm thinking about understanding this witches stuff", Ruby lock her hands together. "You want to learn more about yourself", "yeah I want to understand a lot of things I thought reading a book might help but I think I should come to the source".

Ruby smile a little out of nervousness, "follow me we are having breakfast", Amira lead Ruby to the kitchen.

"Good morning Mrs. Parker", Omar stood from his chair, "morning", Ruby said softly, "great what is she doing here ?", Michael ask coldly, "she wants to learn more about her kind Omar", Amira answer for Ruby. "Aw very sweet lost soul searching for a purpose", Michael tease "shut up", Amira said, "mmm….okay I'll talk to April see if she can teach you now come join us for breakfast I can hear your stomach", Omar wink then went back to eating.

Ruby nodded sitting next to Michael who stop eating his breakfast, "I'm not hungry anymore", Michael said before leaving the kitchen.

"I'm going to call April so y'all two can talk", Omar left the kitchen while pulling out his phone.

Amira gently pass Ruby a plate, "oh..thank you", Ruby grab a knife and fork begin eating the breakfast food Amira gave her. "This is delicious", Ruby spoke between bites, "yeah I like to cook sometimes", Amira stated.

Amira watch Ruby eat her food quietly, "I hope this help you find yourself", she added.

Michael went to check the mail when he opened the mail box grabbing the mail then Michael begin to look the mail finding a letter address to Omar. Michael noticed the mail had a address on it saying it came from Brazil.

Michael went back to the house and sat all the mail down instead the mail from Brazil, 'why would Omar get a letter from someone in Brazil', Michael look confused.

Michael went to Omar study's to give him all the mail he stop dead in his tracks at the door when he heard a short quick conversation.

"Yeah I know for now just keep clear and away", Omar hang up the phone then Michael enter inside giving Omar the mail. "Who was that ?", Michael ask trying to see if Omar would lie and he did, "trying to get some info…thanks", Omar grab the mail from Michael hand noticing the Brazil letter.

Omar face change a little but try to hide it, "thank you for the mail", Omar clear his throat, Michael felt like Omar was hiding something instead of asking more question Michael left the room.

A hour has passed April pull up into the yard stepping out her heading inside of the hybrids house.

"I'm here", April enter the house running into Omar, "you came here fast I see", Omar smirk, "of course", April smile when she saw Omar loving smooth smirk. "Where the um…girl ?", April stuttered a little, "follow me", Omar lead April to the living room, "déjà vu huh ?", April smile, "hey Amira", she wave at Amira who gave April a small smile.

"Is good to meet you again Mrs. Parker", "same", "so Omar told me that you want to learn more about our kind", "yeah I try reading book but I feel like going to the source is much easier". "You right it is so for now we will learn each other follow me", April learn Ruby out to the back door.

"As a witch you can contact with natural use the energy to around make things happen for example some witches like me can do crazy things".

April close her eyes then she begin to wave her hands around causing a small wind then she chant a spell to grow a flower.

"Jeez can all witches do that ?", "well not really witches we change over time some witches can chant a spell to make elements like making fire moving water and of course causing wind". Ruby nodded her head in understanding, "but some witches can just shot fire or whatever depends on the witch", April shrug her shoulders.

"Are saying I might have abilities ?", Ruby try understand what April was saying, "you might but we have to find out first". April begin to help Ruby find out what kind of abilities she have.

Inside Amira watch the two witches talk and do some chanting, "I didn't know you were into redheads", Michael stood next to her with his arms cross. "What jealous that she might be into to me not you", Amira tease, "yeah right I would have little red wrap around finger", Michael twirled his finger, "she can't be compelled", "I don't need to compelled her Amira she's not my type anyway plus I think she should go back to her fake human life". "Why do you care so much huh ?", "I want to keep this dumb ass family safe from every threat that comes", "you think she's a threat ?", Amira turn to her brother, "maybe threat can come slowly or fast but either way if won't end will for us it never does", Michael said before walking away.

Amira turn back watching Ruby trying to learn how to be a witch.
