A week went by Ruby been learning more about herself and how to finally unlocking one of her abilities. Omar Amira and Michael were training and getting ready for a war against the old hunter's.

Ruby visit the hybrids house to train with April but mostly to see Amira.

Ruby look out to the backyard seeing Amira training with Michael in her black sport bra and shorts. Ruby noticed Amira sweaty brown tone abs, Ruby just stare admiring Amira's beautiful figure.

April enter the living room seeing Ruby standing by a window smiling a little, "mhm beautiful", April whisper making Ruby flinch a little, "oh hey April I didn't hear you come in", Ruby rub the back of her neck trying to hide her blush. "Hey it's okay to look they are very fit all that energy they got", April step away from the window.

"Yeah I see that", Ruby follow April to the living room area, "alright let's see if you have telekinesis", April place a gemstone on the table in front of Ruby.

"Now telekinesis isn't really simple take your time", April stated because Ruby always try to force her abilities to come out.

Ruby begin forcing on moving the gemstone but nothing happens Ruby tries again and again for couple minutes then she stops out of frustration.

"Damn it", Ruby hit her thighs with her, "alright let's just try again", April suggested, Ruby stared at the stone but nothing happened Ruby stood up from the couch.

April saw the frustration on Ruby when she turn away, "alright I understand it difficult but you can't force it out", April said, "or maybe because I'm not a witch maybe I just a weird girl that can't be compelled", Ruby stated.

"This stuff takes time", "are sure by now I would feel something right, I can't even put a damn potion together !", Ruby shouted, April look down seeing the rock shaking then everything else start shaking in the living room. "Okay Ruby calm down please", "I am calm just frustrated and piss because I can't do nothing right", Ruby wave her hand causing the gemstone flying though a window breaking the glass.

Everything just stop Ruby and April turn to the broken glass then the three hybrids rush inside the living room.

"Is everything okay ?", Amira walk toward Ruby to check if she was okay, "what the hell", Michael stated, Omar noticed the broken glass then sense a powerful energy from Ruby.

"Did you do this ?", Omar walk towards the broken window, "I'm very sorry I didn't mean…I-I don't know how..", Amira notice Ruby shaking a little, "no no no don't apologize I can get it replaces Amira take Ruby to the kitchen help her calm down", Omar ordered, Amira nodded leading Ruby to the kitchen.

"This is great", Michael stated, "she is powerful", Omar said, "yeah I saw that but the problem is her emotions this is the first real progress we have", April said with a smile. "That's great if she keeps going on this good progress we might need to buy windows and door", Michael said with a sarcastic smile.

"What's your problem ?", April snap at the hybrid, "you and that witch is my problem", Michael answer, "y'all going to destroy the house then the hunter's will find us and-", "enough boy", Omar growled, Michael raise his hands up and let out the living room.

"I'm sorry about Michael you know he can be some what", "asshole", "okay we can go with that", Omar smirk, "sorry", "no don't apologize a lot of people call him that", Omar grab onto April's hand.

Inside the kitchen Amira gave Ruby a glass of water, "I can't believe I did that", Ruby said softly after taking a sip of water, "yeah but it's okay you learning more about yourself", Amira stood on the other side of the counter. Ruby smile a little then lower her head not trying to show her fear, Amira walk to the other side to sit next to Ruby, "what's wrong ?", "nothing", Ruby shock her head, Amira use her finger and thumb to lift Ruby's head causing the two women to make eye contact.

"You can tell me", Amira spoke softly, Ruby clear her throat then move her head back a little, "I just feel like I might not be safe", "what you mean I'll keep you safe if you fear something", "I….fear myself I never done something like that before what happens if I..um- I", Ruby begin stuttering, "hey hey it's okay", Amira cup Ruby cheek's, "April Omar and I will help you get through this I promise", Amira caresses Ruby cheek then she look down at the redhead beautiful pink lips. Ruby begin to blush because of Amira warm touches.

Amira heard Ruby heart beat racing she knew what was happening ready to lean in and kiss the redhead Michael enter the kitchen.

Amira quickly move away before Michael could notice but sense something interesting, "well well the powerful witch is breaking down", Michael walk up to the fridge with a smirk, "shut up Michael", Amira stated.

"What I'm just saying she should happy that her life have meaning to it now", Michael grab his water bottle. "It's sad really I wonder who would hide you from your true self I would have been piss", Michael tease, "fuck you", Ruby left out the kitchen Amira follow her outside to the front yard.

"Hey where you going ?", Amira softly grab Ruby's wrist, "I just need to get some rest that's all", Ruby sigh pulling her arm away.

Amira watch the redhead get in her and leave quickly.

When Ruby car disappear Amira went back inside entering the living room. "Where's Ruby ?", April ask, "she left went home to get some rest", Amira answer, "great", Michael sat on the couch drinking his water.

Amira growl about to attack Michael but Omar step in front, "I should stop by her place and check on her", April suggested, "give her a call first but first I need your help with something", Omar said.

"With what ?", "I need help with a protective spell around the house", "okay let's get started", April smile. Omar phone begin ringing his face expression charge, "I'll be right back", Omar answer his phone before entering his studies that is sound proof.

"Hello ?", "are you sure about this I should come and help", "no just stay where you are I don't know where the hunter's are but I am doing everything to protect the others". "Are you ever going to tell them the real truth ?", Omar stayed quietly for a minute before speaking again, "I will soon but for now I don't think they are ready for the full truth", "I hope you're right", Omar sigh before hanging the phone.

Meanwhile Jasper been trying to get close with the redhead. Kofi keep searching for a witch and finally found one who can help.Kira took care of Chuck helping him heal from his wound.

Jasper stood in front of Ruby's door ready to knock but hesitated,Jasper turn away and ran into Ruby.

"Oh hey", Ruby smile when she saw Jasper, "hi I came to see you", "oh really I haven't seen in a while", Ruby pull out her keys. "Yeah I was busy with something's I finally found a place", "that's good I hope you like it", "yeah um the reason I came here is because I…I don't really have friends or family here so I was wondering if…you wanted to hang out ?". "Oh okay that's cool um do you want to do something now ?", "sure I'm not busy", "okay give me a second", Ruby went inside to freshen up.

Ruby came back into the hallway before locking the door when the two walked away Kira appeared and broke into the redhead's apartment.

Ruby took Jasper to Starbucks to get some coffee. The two sat down and begin talking, Jasper let Ruby talk more because he wanted to get know her, Jasper begin to grow feelings towards the redhead.

"I'm tired of talking about myself tell me about yourself Jasper", "it's not really much about me you want to know I have a boring life", Jasper lied covering it with a sigh. "Same here what made you move to New Orleans ?", "family business", Jasper gave Ruby a straight, "oh I'm guessing you don't like it ?", "sorry for answering like that to be honest I don't like the family business it's makes me feel like I will never get out of it". "Then leave it do what makes you happy my dad would tell that all the time", "yeah I'm trying after this last job me and…my brother will talk about it", "good", Ruby answer before finishing her coffee.

Two walked around for a few more hours then after Jasper took Ruby back to her apartment when Kira text Jasper saying she left.

"Thanks for the coffee", Ruby pull out her keys finally unlocking her door, "have a good night Ruby give a call sometimes okay", Jasper wave before leaving.

Ruby close her door then her black cat came running up to her. "Hey buddy sorry I've been gone so long", Ruby throw her purse and keys on the counter before picking up her cat.

Ruby sat on her couch on her cat thinking about what happened early.

Jasper went back to the hotel room he walk in seeing Chuck trying to sit up, Kira sitting on the bed waiting.

"Did you found anything ?", "(sigh) no just an annoying cat and mess girl needs to clean", Kira cross her arms. "Okay where's Kofi ?", "he is out looking for a good witch around I think it's a bad idea", Jasper lay his hands on his hips with shaking his head.

"He's been looking for a witch for too long we need to find those hybrids",Jasper pastes back and forth, "we tried nothing sense that little incident the creatures are being careful", Kira got off the bed to check Chuck wound.

"Hey I had to do something he was feeding off from some lady", Chuck lift up his shirt for Kira to check his wound.

Jasper rub his temple while pasting again, Chuck look down at Kira ready to ask her a question, "spit it out before you choke ?", Kira felt Chuck staring at her, "could Kofi turn me into a true hunter ?", Chuck ask.

Jasper and Kira looked at each other wondering who going is to answer that question.

"He haven't done that in a long time I'll talk to him about", Jasper stated, Kira roll her eyes knowing that Jasper was lying.

The door opened Kofi enter the room with everyone looking at him. "Found a witch yet ?", Kira ask, "I did lucky she coming here later to help me track the hybrids", Kofi sat on his chair playing with a dagger.

"Um after we kill the hybrids I was wondering if you could turn me into a true hunter ?", Chuck ask before whipping the sweat off his forehead.

Kofi look towards the young hunter then back at the other two.

"Well that depends on if you survive hybrids aren't easy they're worst then regular werewolves and vampires. If you want to be one of us you going have to prove yourself worthy", Kofi pat Chuck's shoulder before siting down in a chair.

"When do we meet this witch ?", Jasper ask, "in a hour or less", Kofi shrug his shoulders, "are you sure she going to help us ?", Kira spoke, Kofi look over at Kira and smirk, "if not she will have a nice funeral", he smirked.
