The First Test

I would have preferred not to have to go through this, but I had no choice if I wanted Sonia to bring me the information I needed to achieve my goal.

If she had agreed in the first place, I would never have blackmailed her like that, but since she refused, I had to use a not-so-honest means of persuasion.

The problem with this kind of technique is that it will work as long as she can't find an alternative to save her sister, or can't find anyone who can help her, to get her sister to safety.

So it's better that she gets the information as soon as possible, before these possible hypotheses really materialize, because if that happens, I won't have any way to access all this information that is crucial for the continuation of my plan.

But then, the first hurdle she has to clear is the selection. If she manages to be chosen, the hardest part will be done. The rest will just be longer, but also easier I think.
