Slave In The House

The auction's conclusion sounded like a trumpet blast announcing a prisoner's execution.

With hazy vision, I looked around the hall. The host, who laughed with his mouth corners raised, and the little boy who served drinks between tables

My eyes begged for assistance, but no one was interested in her pleas. The host only said, "Bring the next slave!" They were all alike. Filthy.

"Uhn-"

While I was trying to talk, a sturdy man came up to the stage and tied my wrists. Then, he bent down and released the chain from my ankle.

The chain tied to the foot weighed a lot more than the transparent and thin clothes like dragonfly wings. Since it was removed, I've wanted to fly away and escape this place like it was a dream, but my ankle, which had a red mark from the chain, was still sore. With this ankle, I couldn't think of anywhere she could run. I was washed with embarrassment by the ladies as they prepared me, and I was tied to the rope as the sturdy man brought a rod heated by the fire and pressed against my back. It was excruciatingly painful. I couldn't scream because they were putting the cloth in my mouth.

The man took me away and led me to the noble who had purchased me. He remained motionless as I approached. "He's petite." A thin voice penetrated my ears.

The person who had bought me had the face of the person who had killed Himmawari. All of this started to feel real. I suddenly became terrified.

"What is your name?" he inquired.

"Shin." I stumbled.

"That's a nice name," the man said.

He reached out and touched my cheek. It wasn't just his hands either. Shiny old eyes were shamelessly peering at her body.

"Good. I just received my payment "he exclaimed, laughing

"What are you on about?" I stated

"Your sister was a fool for taking money from me, but now that she's gone, I needed someone to fill her shoes. You are reminiscent of someone."

I gulped as the man recognized me. I recognize him as the man who was serving as the palace's guard.

"Long time no see, prince, the king would be delighted to see you," the man said as he wrapped his hand around my waist.

My neck got goosebumps, but it wasn't an exciting reaction.

"But don't worry, I won't tell; be a good slave, and you'll be surprised at what I have in store for you on the outside."

"I-I.." I tried to appear as calm as possible, but her voice trembled in the end. I couldn't keep it a secret.

It was a desperate attempt to comprehend even a smidgeon of the dread that lay ahead. The man standing, on the other hand, burst out laughing.

The auction was held in secret in an old house. The house had a main hall where the auction was held, as well as a long corridor for the purchased slaves, with bedrooms on the side. In contrast to the main hall, where security was strict, the more people who went to the bedroom, the fewer people were vigilant.

"I can't wait to take you to the palace, where you'll never be able to escape. I will not inform the king if you obey me "muttered the man

I have no choice but to flee. I wish I could flee. Is it okay if I flee?

As I was led to the house in chains, I noticed that the people were malnourished and had weak bodies. Everyone feared him, and it was only when I saw soldiers dressed in Amida armor that I realized I had entered Amida territory.

"I'm feeling stuffy. Could you please give me some space?" I pleaded with him.

My words were met with laughter from the man.

"You filth, it's a very cute favor to ask me to remove your chains."

As soon as the man untied me, he said something that haunted me: "The day I was taken, Himmawari's death body was taken to the forest to be eaten by the animals and referred to her as waste." I hit the man with my forehead, enraged by his exclamation.

"Ahhhh! You're insane!" I punched him so hard that my head began to pound. Soldiers surrounded me, and the beaten man punched me in the stomach.

"Do you dare to do that, filthy child? Tie him up and report to the king!"

I felt the purpose of my power without thinking about his words. Not anger, but the chi that flowed through me as taught by the martial arts master, brought the Akuma power. I screamed and killed the two guards who were holding me. The man jumped in fear and was stunned. He attempted to use his strength, but I punched him so hard that his teeth fell out.

Because of the heavy chain I'd been wearing, I winced from the pain in my sore ankle.

"Stay away!" yelled the man.

The guards stationed outside the main hall began to move in unison. My head was filled with blood. If my legs had been in better shape, I would have been able to leave sooner. But now there is a person who murdered one of my loved ones. As the soldiers entered and attempted to kill me, I beat the hell out of them with my strength and power. The man hit me from behind, but unlike before, I felt no pain.

While I was surrounded by soldiers, the man ran to safety, got into his horse, and rode away. The man easily escaped and came to a halt near a tree to catch his breath.

"I need to inform the king, I saw his power, it was nothing I saw, I better leave and inform the news," the man said as he began to ride out, but something stood in front of him. I was standing in front of him, holding a sword.

"Get away from here," the man yelled as he commanded the horse. With no time to waste, I swung the sword and severed the horse leg, causing the man to fall. He tried to flee, but as my power grew, he suffocated himself trying to breathe.

I eventually gained control of the power and stopped it, and once he was able to breathe again, I pushed him to the face and pressed his eyes, causing him to struggle. He was yelling and scratching at me, but I couldn't stop myself and slowly killed the man. I sat there crying and crying, wondering what kind of test the reaper had given me.

As I walked back to the house where I had once lived, I noticed that it had been burned down and that all that remained were Himmawari's burnt clothes. As the clouds darkened and it began to rain, I knelt and cried. I gathered all of her belongings and buried them together. I swear an oath to protect my life and the lives of those I care about. That is the reaper's obstacle and test for me.

Taking whatever was useful, I entered the land where I once grew as I saw the castle and vowed that one day I would avenge all those who were killed in front of me and bathe in the tyrant's blood. I swore an oath and boarded the ship, changing my appearance once more, and rode away to the south of the country, where I will learn more tricks about my power and return stronger than ever.
