CH:23 Divide and Conquer .:Part.2:.

Meanwhile: on the other side of the city

Raphael POV

_________

Me and Casey are laying a beatdown on some punks from the purple dragons. The toughest gang on the east side. 'It's them or us, and I plan on walkin outta here.' I think to myself as I change my grip and with a flash of my sai, I throw it at the head of the bastard with a gun. His eyes go wide just before my sai meets his face. With a jump and flip I land on the stomach of the dead body, pulling my sai out with one quick movement. Staying in a crouched position I do a quick spin with a leg sweep to take down the guy next to me before he has a chance to react, and let the same bloody sai meet his face as well.

In no time at all we finished off these purple dragon bastards and I look over at Casey just to see him loose it again.

The guy he was beating was nothing more than a limp body on the ground but that wasn't stopping Casey. He continued smashing his baseball bat into the skull until it was nothing more than a pile of mush.

I let him get it out of his system as I still have bruises from stopping him last time. Once he stops splashing in the brain goop I shake my head and say, "Look I'm no fan of the purple dragons either. I'll help you take them down as I promised, but you have to exercise just a little restraint. Just think of how the cops are going to react when they come see this mess you made." I finish, trying to keep my cool and point at the unrecognizable smushed head by his feet.

Casey turns around clearly still pissed off, "Save it, Raph! You don't know what you're talking about."

I look him strait in the eye with a challenge as I say, "Try me."

"It's a long story", he growls out.

"Give me the short version", I snap back while glaring at him. I crossing my arms to show that I'm not backing down.

Casey pushes his hockey mask up ontop of his head and heaves a big sigh to calm his nerves before saying, "Well a long time ago, when I was just a kid. Some punks were shaking my ol' man down for protection money. They were purple dragons. When we didn't pay they torched our store. Killing my dad in the fire and kidnapping my younger sister, Angel, when she was still an infant." He wipes a tear away before it falls down his cheek before yelling, "So don't tell me how to deal with purple dragons!"

Just then we start to hear cop cars so we run to the nearest fire escape to get to the top of the building.

Once we get to the rooftop I look over the edge to see the cop car showing up and two police officers get out. The first cop clicked his tongue saying, "Damn, these gang fights are popping up all over."

The second cop who walked up to Casey's masterpiece, shook his head saying, "Nah, look at this. This one screams personal vengeance."

The first cop walks up to the second one to see what he was talking about and lets out a big sigh, "Looks like we got a lot of paperwork to do tonight. It seems that we also have a vigilante on our hands."

I look back at Casey just to call him a "Bonehead" right before we take off to get some distance between us and the cops.

After half an hour of running I stop and clear my throat, getting Casey's attention. I heave a sigh to ease my temper before saying, "Look I'll help you get Angel back but you can't go off like that. It's hard enough trying to get around without being seen, we can't have cops looking for us on top of that." I finish with a little bit of anger that creeps into my voice.

Casey looks at me slightly embarrassed, "Yeah you're probably right. You guys get to hide in the sewers but I would be a lot easier to find."

"Exactly, so don't be such a bonehead next time." I couldn't help jabbing back. "Did you at least get what we were looking for?"

With a chuckle he holds up a purple cell phone with a dragon on the back, "Got it right here", he says with a smirk then gives me a confused look as he hands it to me, "But how will this help?"

"I saw Donny do this once, apparently these little things actually track wherever you take it" I point out as I'm trying to use this touch screen with my giant finger, just getting incredibly frustrated since I'm hitting multiple buttons with one poke. With a sigh I hand the phone back to Casey and walk him through the steps that Donny showed me. After a few long and very frustrated minutes we had a destination. "Looks like it's an abandoned warehouse down by the docks", I mumble mostly to myself.

"Then let's go mop the floor with those scum!" Casey practically shouts as he starts to get excited and slams his hockey mask back down onto his face.

"Hold your horses, man. We are talking about their main hideout. I think we are going to need my family for this one." I point out with a serious tone hoping that I'll get it through his thick skull.

"We don't need them!" He snaps back.

"Probably not but I would rather not take any chances. Besides with Ying's ability to detect other people, we will actually be able to know how many there are and what we're up against." I point out kind of proud that I'm actually thinking something through for once but after Casey's previous meltdown we have to be extra careful.

"I hate it when you go all Leo on me... but you're right." Casey groans out and we start to head back to the lair.
