Chapter 1

Nobody genuinely has the answer to how they will develop or what they will eventually become, even if they are aware of their origins, who they are, and when they were born.

Before the holographic emblem emerged above Trevor Crescere's head, he thought he was already confident of who he was.

But life had other plans for him and other difficulties to throw his way that would alter him for all time. The better query is.

How will they perceive him?

For Trevor Crescere, getting ready for what seemed like a normal day, on his way to Brooklyn Academy of the Gifted for an interview. You might be asking what makes Trevor unique. Trevor enjoys creating what he likes to refer to as his masterpieces through his love of drawing and painting.

Trevor's father yelled from across the house, "Trevor, you ready; you wouldn't want to be late to your interview."

"Yes, I'm coming!" He called back anxiously storing everything he needed inside of his portfolio, making sure all was there for the umpteenth time.

He didn't know why, but he felt better when he was out in nature, which is why he loved camping. He looked out the window at central park stretching in the distance, as he ran down the stairs. Almost tripping and falling. His father simply smiled and had the same thoughts as his mother as he was lost in contemplation and staring out the window.

"All right, Trevor I'm sorry I couldn't get you anything better, but here's your gift from me. It's a poppy; it's your mother's favorite. I'll see you in the car, please don't take too long. "Trevor's father worriedly asked, fearing that his son wouldn't enjoy the gift.

Trevor's lips quirked up into a smile, "Thank you, dad, I love it." He stated almost as if he were holding something as unique as a diamond. He could have waited for the seed to Bloom, but he never had to be patient. Given that he occasionally had the ability to grow plants.

A little something more that's unique about him.

When his father left the room and went to the garage, the boy began to grow a poppy. He then touched it and felt something change; he wasn't sure what it was, but he was going to try to identify it.

Trevor started to consider all of the things that could go wrong as he and his father climbed into the car and drove to the school, but he wasn't one to linger on things that hadn't happened yet. As they arrived at in the campus of the Brooklyn Academy for the gifted.

Trevor was ecstatic when he noticed how much nature surrounded the campus; it was as though the institution had been designed especially for him. Trevor and his father entered the school, and as Trevor waited for the interview outside the office while playing with the poppy, he thought he saw something move.

He raised his head and saw a dog sniffing around with glowing red eyes, he decided to disregard the dog completly since he wanted to concentrate on learning what had altered about him after touching the poppy. When the office door opened, he saw a tall man in a suit inviting him inside for the interview. He entered the cozy office, which was larger than his bedroom, and took a look around.

"Hello, I'm Lucas Black. How are you doing? I'm the principal of this esteemed institution, and I'm eager for this interview." said the principal with a small smile.

Trevor Crescere introduced himself and said, "Hello, my name is Trevor, and I'm doing good. I'm also excited for this interview." Trevor then handed over his portfolio of paintings and drawings.

After asking him a number of questions, the principal said he would return because he needed to finish up some tasks to finalize the boy's enrollment by adding him to the system for the following year.

He then told the boy he could explore the campus while they waited. He informed his father that he would be walking around while he waited for the enrollment paper and that he would return in about an hour.

Being a curious little fuck, Trevor followed the dog as he began to circle around it. When the dog stopped, however, it looked at him and vanished. Leaving only whisps of smokey like shadow behind, setting off all of his instincts, but it was too late as the dog reappeared behind him and pounced om him.

The dog was on top of Trevor and was about to bite down on him,  Trevor had no idea where he was or how long he had been following the dog so he couldn't call for help. The dog wasn't even paying attention to Trevor anymore, he pushed with all his might, but he was too weak to move the dog.

Trevor contemplated hitting it in the head with the poppy, but as soon as he thought of that admitedly foolish idea, a vine appeared out of nowhere and swiftly as a cobra smacked the dog, sending it flying a few yards away. as he stood up and searched for what struck the dog. He noticed that the little poppy his father had given him had sprouted a little vine as he thought of ways to fight the hellhound Trevor tried to make another vine, which he succeeded in doing, but it seemed to require more energy from him when he tried to figure out why it seemed thag the vine came from the ground itself. like he created it from nothing than the ground itself and his own will.

He wanted to kill the dog, so he started swinging the vines around like it was second nature. He then got the vines around the hellhound's neck and began to strangle it. Thinking he had won Trevor dropped his guard.

However, the hellhound erupted into waves of flames, burning the vines and blasting the unsuspecting boy away. He tried to reach for more plants, afraid that a third party was attacking him. Sadly for him at this point he was already losing consciousness. He saw someone approaching him.

Once he awoke he first realised that he was back in the office.  Lucas Black standing over him, peering down at him with a stern expression.
