Tirade Upon the Shore

Sitting with feet in the sand, and head turned up at a dark abyss was the way of most nights for Isamu.



His brothers asleep in the bed upon which his father carved with their heads clunked together. It was peace, and quiet for the eldest of the paths.



Rest came quickly to him on the quietest of nights yet slower on nights where his father stepped back into the world - leaving his children behind.



So there, Isamu sat. His eyes trained on the water and mouth sewn shut from exhaustion, for he must watch over the shoreline to protect those behind.
