Two years of training

Ben woke up in his room went downstairs and his dad told him everything about how he was beaten and brought him back home. His dad also told him to get to the forest before the sun would raise. He also told his son that if he was late he would regret it so he should be fast. Ben got dressed and got ready to go to the forest before the sun rise.

The sun was about to reach Peter and Michael who were in the forest waiting for Ben to arrive. Just before the sun reached them Ben arrived.

"That was close," Michael said with a smile.

"Yeah." Ben said

"Okay! Time to train. And today no fighting but today we will be working on your strength."

Ben and Peter were happy that they were not going to get beaten up like yesterday.

"Okay look on your left." Michael said

They both looked to their left and saw large rocks. All the rocks were the same size.

"Now both of you are strong enough to carry these rocks. So I want you to carry on with one hand so you will be carrying two. And you will be doing squats with them." Michael said

Just then two men came behind him and they were holding a cane.

"Now, these men are going to make sure that your legs burn up." Michael said with a smile. "Now start!"

The boys did what they were told and were ready for their pain. The two men went behind the boys and whenever they got up they would use the cane to hit their legs.

"Is this training or punishment?" Peter asked really feeling the pain from the cane.

"It's both." Michael said. You should stop complaining this is how we are going to be training until it's time to go to school. The boys looked at each other and just contained the training.

TWO YEARS LATER

There was a beast that looked like a bear but was three times bigger. The beast looked hurt and had a cut on its body.

The beast was in the forest and was looking around. It was looking for something and because it was in night it could hardly see anything.

Just then something was coming close to it. It had two swords and looked like it was a human. It was Peter and he had a smile on his face. Then the bear heard something and it came from a tree when it looked up it saw a human with a sword. That human was Ben and was looking down at the bear.

"You know, for a bear, you run fast." Peter said. "Too bad you can't talk. I would have asked why you were going to attack our village."

"Maybe he wanted easy meat." Ben said.

"Well, now it's going to be meat for other beasts." Peter said

Then Peter moved towards the beast. The beast then stood on its two legs ready to battle.

"I have been waiting for you to stand!" Peter said.

He place his two swords on the ground and then spared the beast making it hit the ground hard but before it could get up Ben cut its head with his sword swipe.

Ben landed beside his partner.

"That was fast," Peter said

"Fast!" Ben said. "We have been following this bear since 10 pm."

"So?" Peter asked.

"It's almost sunrise." Ben said a little annoyed

"How do you know?" Peter asked

"Look up." Ben said pointing to the sky.

The sky looked orange just like how it would when the sun is rising.

"Oh." Peter said

They started to cut open the beast to look for the orb after a few minutes they finally found it in the chest. It was the heart.

They left the forest and was heading to their village but when they were out of their forest their village didn't look the same.

The small building was now large buildings the village looked more like a town or even a city. The village had grown ever since the two boys had been hunting for beasts that were around their village. They would give the orbs to the chief and he would sell them and use that money to help the village. The boys were now walking through their village until they were ready to go their way. Ben gave the orb to Peter since his dad was the chief. They send their goodbyes and then went home.

Ben was walking in the same direction his house was but his house was not like how it was. It was a mansion. At the front gate, he was a man standing in front.

"Master Ben." The man said. "Welcome back."

"Thanks," Ben said

The man opened the gate and Ben entered.

When Ben's parents saw that the village was building up they didn't want to be the only small house so they took around 5000 gold coins. They used the money to build the mansion they are living in now. After buying the house everyone knew that Ben's family was no joke, not even the chief's house cost that much money. Ben was walking through the hall when he saw a woman who looked to be in her thirties.

"Master Ben." The woman said. "Welcome back."

"Thank you." Ben said. "Where are my parents?"

"They are currently in their meeting room having a meeting with someone. Do you want me to tell them that you are back?"

"No. I mean wait for them to be done with the meeting. And also tell them not to disturb me. I am tired." Ben said. Then walked to his room.

In his room, there was a large bed and beside the bed, there were two beds but they looked like beds for pets and they had two pets sleeping right now. It was Ben's pet and when they heard someone wake in the room they woke up immediately.

"You can sleep." Ben said

Then they slept back.

Ben placed his sword down and then took off his clothes. He then collapsed on his bed due to looking for the bear the whole night.
