The Revenant King of Rubrum

As Marcius had told the Storm Dragon King before, he already had his fair share of experience with pain and suffering. First was the process of gaining the Solas Mark and the original soul medium at the end of the Goddess Sol's trial. Then came many practice sessions with the Devil Fist Indu. The next was the visit to the Shattered Void and the last one was being drowned into the very depths of the corrupted Strom Well.


And as he had mentioned to Azot, Marcius was very accustomed to pian right of this moment. Thus, when the agony came from the process of fusing his spirit core with the soul of Azot, Marcius was unfazed even if the pain was very excruciating.


So, he just gritted his teeth, hunched forward, and suffered in complete silence. But then, something unexpected happened.


Marcius could feel Azot entering the very center of his core. And immediately, his soul started to form a link with the soul of the spirit beast. The process was called soul linking.
