The people of the village were, understandably, cautious when they saw Marcius heading to the village square followed by the many elders and their village chief herself. They all had felt the effects of Marcius's flex of power during the last few moments, and some were still expecting other unnatural phenomena to pop out without knowing Marcius was done showing off his new-found status as the owner of the Flavic village.


Few of them were looking at Marcius with way expressions, while most of them were merely curious.


On the way to the village square, Lady Sabbargh approached him and whispered.


"Are you sure you can stand up to elder Khalid in a duel? He is a higher-order Master Wizard. I do not know how strong you actually are now that I can feel your enormous strength, but that old bastard had the time to prepare. He had been planning for this duel for who knows how long." The village chief advised.
