The Revenant King of Rubrum

It was late into the night when Marcius returned to his room inside the Farnese's palace. It took quite a while for Marcius to return to his room, because of his socializing.


It had been a success, to say the least. After the duel with Vadim, Marcius was promptly invited to enjoy breakfast with the Sinnon heiress and her clan. The lords of the clans were currently busy with their own business with the duke and many other aspects of the incoming Council of the Lords.


It had always been like this for the annual council of the Farnese dukedom. The lords would go about their business without worry and the heirs and heiresses were left to their devices to try and socialize with one another. In other words, it was to let the future rulers of the regions form connections and friendships with their own efforts.
