Marcius Aemilia was killed during a duel because his opponent cheated by using a vicious poison.

Fortunately, he was resurrected by an outer god with an agenda.

Agreeing to be the god's agent within his homeland, Marcius was now back with a vengeance and dedication to save his family and clan from their unjustified demise.

Along with Marcius, came the soul of Joseph Redwoods, who had read all the future events of Marcius's world from the pages of a novel.

The Revenant King of Rubrum

The Storm Dragon King Azot was not an expert when it came to matters concerning spiritual arrays and runic formations.  But he had been around for a very long time, ever since the emergence of the Shattered Void and the unification of the realm of Rubrum, to be exact.


So, he did know a thing or two about the runes and spiritual seals. And that was more so than Marcius, nevertheless.


In the case of Marcius, he specifically went ahead and recruited a runemaster of excellent mastery just to make sure that he did not have to learn about runic arrays and spiritual formations. All the matters concerning the aforementioned subjects, the heir of the Aemilia clan would happily leave them for Nathenial to deal with.


Thus, right now, Marcius had to consult his spirit beast about the runes protecting the pocket dimension, the very runes which were preventing him from getting out of the dimension that guarded the Life Blood Urn.
