The Revenant King of Rubrum

It did not take long for the Aemilia clan to reach their destination after leaving the Killinglet forest behind. The Vulture trail went up to a higher elevation as the route toward the Purple Sun Hill became apparent.

Marcius looked from the deck of his warship as the stronghold fortress of the Order of Purple Sun came into view. It was an intimidating thing that looked like an eight-pointed black star. A very large star to be specific. With the setting sun behind it, the fortress looked particularly menacing.

The walls were high and made from shining black rock that lit up with bright purple energy from time to time. From his position, Maricus could also see troops of the Order of Purple Sun as well as various siege equipment that aimed to fire at the advancing Aemilia army as soon as they approached. However, the Aemilia could also see the results of the alliance between the Order of Purple Sun and the dukedom of Messor.
