Marcius held the God Sword loosely by his side as he observed the two opponents he was up against.

The fight had developed not necessarily to his advantage but this was still within the expectations of Marcius. He did not expect to win this quite easily.

Yes, it would have been better if his plan worked and he was able to quickly kill the great elder Tenes and then, fight against the order master Alaster. But it was split milk under the bridge and Marcius would have to make a new plan that could accommodate the new development. In fact, Marcius already had one in his mind.

Firstly, Marcius must deal with the Slayer Sword so that it was not able to develop the abilities that could kill him easily. For that, the answer was simple.
