Marcius gently brushed the fur of the Alpha Lycanis below him as he commanded the familiar to stop its running. Cloud suddenly came to a halt as Marcius gave his signal.

They were currently on the way to go and meet with the Eternal Flames Phoenix so that Marcius could figure out if he would be gaining the primal spirit beast of fire as his next spirit beast or not.

Ashuran had told the heir of the Aemilia clan to come to see her after the conflict with the Order of Purple Sun had been dealt with, and this was what Marcius intended to do right now.

As he and his familiar mount came to a stop, Marcius looked around his surroundings slowly. They were currently in the middle of a small forest with trees circling them from all sides. Looking up, he also noted that the sun had already gone down quite a while earlier. The time was very well into the early night.
