Taking Marcius Aemilia's kick to her body, the Red Star Falcon allowed the momentum to take her backward, briefly spreading her wings to lessen the speed, and came to a stop above her brother.

The Red Star Falcon spared a look to her partner in the duel. The Fire Drake King looked back, then gave her a small nod with his scaly head.

Then, the avian spirit beast was suddenly gone from her position.

There was the sound of a soft sonic boom as the air was instantly displaced as the Red Star Falcon increased her speed. The spirit beast burned a considerable portion of her energy as she let the flames explode behind her and increase her speed. Now, she was nearly at the same velocity as Maricus, just without the maneuverability afforded by the heir of the Aemilia clan.
